Hadnt thought of that one - only trouble then is to avoid upchucking (I am after all a light weight, but sober up quickly)

Right I am either off to bed so I can get up early in the morning to iron work stuff before I have to deposit DD at mothers 7 miles away before I go to work for 8 o clock, or I'll go do the ironing tonight then get up later.

Bed methinks - bogger just remembered I've got to put clean stuff on it so I am deffo not doing that and the ironing tonight.

    See you all tomorrow

... I was thinking Devon but suddenly S. Wales seems very appealing! :rotfl:;)
If you DO decide to go to Devon rather than S. Wales, and I manage to blag gardening leave, let me know as I may go down there to annoy the neighbours during tourist season... (my dad won't go down in august as its too busy)

Yes... but don't forget, he was faithful last time :D
Well the good news (for those who remember my previous rants) is that my housemate (unable to see dirt / mess / crumbs) is moving out. Tomorrow. So the flat is currently a sea of boxes and a loooooooot of loose bits and pieces hanging about.

As of tomorrow (circa 4pm) I'll have the whole flat to myself!

Therefore no cleaning today due to inability to see any of the carpet or any other flat surfaces. I've done a HHI (managed 4 shirts and a pair of trousers; ironing is not my forte) as I start a new job on Wednesday (will need to wear a tie and everything!!!)

Now I'm off to my penultimate night shift ever!

    Enjoy the wine Kaz
Thanks for the welcome back Holly, Helen, GreenBee and all others!

And... of course... Hey Valli :hello:

    CardiffM x

Enjoy the night shift... what's the new job? I'm sure there are plenty of flyladies who'll volunteer to help you remove all traces of your flatmate :rotfl:

Not surprised you're lost... they've all been flirting all evening . The day's list (and details of how it all works) are in the first post. I suggest you start with level one each day this week and gradually work your way up to level three.

    Evening :D:o

On the 15th I am goin out with my boss, (as its her birthday), another workmate and some of the bosses mates to see the dreamboys. She is already sorting out what jugs of cocktails to have on the table . You see the thing is, sniff the cork and I start to relax, 1/2 a glass and I start to get stupid, a glass full and I get verbal diarrhoea, any more I'll probably be either dancing on the table or under it, but it will also be only a week before we leave for our holiday and wedding which no-one other than those invited (and you guys of course) knows anything about and I want to keep it that way, and its also an hours journey away and not sure if I travel well after a few :o. ok breathe ................. so what do I do, abstain and keep stummm or enjoy myself, probably embarrass myself completely and let the cat out of the bag and hopefully not upchuck on the way home.

Tell them you aren't drinking, and don't drink. I NEVER (except on one notable occasion, and the (male) colleague (now my mentor :o) who was with me at the time has been sworn to secrecy) drink on work dos... it's not worth it! Tell them your on antibiotics or some other medication that means you can't drink. Or drive, which means you can't change your mind.

So... anyone done any flying today then :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

valli- thanks for comments re brace, only foods we were told to stay away from were crusty bread & apples, she has had pasta for the last couple of days but did manage roast beef & yorkshires tonight (it is her favourite but i did wonder how she would go)

I always broke mine on chocolate, never could resist the stuff. Chewy stuff is fine, hard stuff not so fine - was always having to go to the stupid orthodontists to have my brace mended and I had to hang about on freezing cold station platforms to get there and get home. Oh those were the days, so glad I don't have to do that anymore.

I wish I felt like you do, I might miss my meds tomorrow as last time I did I seem to remember being like this!
    Hamster needs a haircut!!!!!!!!

He so does doesn't he. Still lovely tho! Mean Jeremy trapped him in a cherry picker thing up by the ceiling! But it's ok cos Jeremy fell out of one and was hanging there by his harness while James May ignored him which was hilarious!

    Hi all,

I am in again for my last week for a while, going on holiday next Monday and want the house sparkling before I go. I'm too embarrassed to claim any stars but I have already done the livingroom, kitchen and bathroom!

My big problem is the bedroom, so far I have cleaned a chest of drawers and tidied and folded clothes into 2 drawers, only 5 to go! The floor can't even be seen for all the junk so will deal with that during the week.

My list of 5 things is:

    1. Pack suitcase
    2. Pack holdall
    3. Buy last minute holiday stuff
    4. Cut grass cos it is already like a jungle
    5. Relax, cos been so stressed at organising everything

Have a good nite everyone xx

Kaz my love, you have made me laugh so much this evening which is great, thank you! I really needed it!
You asked to be reminded to get the washing in - please have a coffee first and be careful!
