valli- thanks for comments re brace, only foods we were told to stay away from were crusty bread & apples, she has had pasta for the last couple of days but did manage roast beef & yorkshires tonight (it is her favourite but i did wonder how she would go)

Declutter the guff and put it where it belongs!
Empty bins etc
Level Two
wipe the sofas
Vacuum the floors, including the stairs
Wipe the paintwork in the hallway and up the stairs
Level three
Wash any curtains/nets soft furnishings that need it
Vacuum under any furniture you can safely move
