Woohoo, we finally had snow! Needless to say we didnt go to Leeds today because the motorways were bad. Got worse throughout the day so we closed in work early and town was completely gridlocked as the tunnels had been closed. Eventful journey home but soooo glad we have some snow at last although no doubt I will be fed up of it by tomorrow.

Few bills got paid today (gas/elec/OU) but no debt payments and nothing spent so all good. Nearly finished assignment just have a few last little tweaks to make and I can send it off and forget about it yeay!

    Hope everyone is well xxx

well done penguin! Word counts are a mare! What was the subject?!! Just think each word done is one work closer to swanky riches (types carefuly!) ...mind you at essay time my washing was up to date, letters done, washing and, shock of all shocks, ironing! Hope you will celebrate! Whens the next one?!

Afternoon all, hope everyone is ok and not snowed in. Well we had fun on Tuesday, as we didnt go to Leeds I stayed in work as normal, we had some snow on Monday night but nothing too bad so everyone was in work. Then about lunchtime the skies opened and deposited tonnes of the stuff on us. We never get snow like that so we kicked everyone out of work early (2.30pm) problem was every office in the vicinity did the same and then they suspended all the buses and closed the tunnel so it was complete gridlock. Luckily i had volunteered to stay until 4.30 as we had courts still sitting so avoided it. At 4.30pm I walked for a few miles passed all the traffic jams and OH picked me up where it had cleared. Most of my collegues ended up abandoning their cars as they were ran out of fuel. Everyone who dashed out the door took at least 3 hours to get home and those of us who stayed made it back realtively quickly!

All the schools are shut until Monday but we are open as normal in work. I am on a day off today but worked yesterday and back in tomorrow. Tuesday night was so bad that they even closed the taxi office and they have never done that before.

Taxi - how is it there, have you been able to work? OH is going out tonight as we are going to be struggling soon if we dont get something in!

Just off to work out money so will update on that soon x x x
