If you guys are really itching to see the pictures, we have leaflets in the branches which were/are to be given out to customers, especially those ordering new cards. I'm sure you can pop in and pick one up - if not, I'll upload one tomorrow for y'all along with some more info if I remember
@ Heng Long - I just had to say that I very much dislike the idea of having my account number on my card, especially if it has my sort-code on it aswell - those details are confidential.
If you lost your card, or even just left it in a shop, who's to say what could happen?
That would be good if you could scan us some pics :-P0 -

I'd be interested to know the reason some banks decide that it's appropriate to have an account number on a card and others not.0 -
No card delivered as yet but i do know what the new Visa Debit Card looks like....
I've tried to update a pic but my bluetooth is playing up a bit.
RBS have a website www.rbs.co.uk/visadebit although I can't see any pics at the moment on the website.
The new card is a dark marble colour, with the RBS logo on the top right hand side. The Visa Debit Logo is on the top left hand side. Overall the card looks really good.
The cards BIN numbers are 4751 XXXX XXXX XXXX
Hope this is useful.
Im not sure if im keen on having the visa debit logo on the top left hand side of the card. I prefer it on the bottom right lolIm an ex employee RBS GroupHowever Any Opinion Given On MSE Is Strictly My Own0 -

All debit cards used to have the sort code and a/c number on them. VISA ones still do, and if RBS and Natwest ones don't then I think they will be the first.
Maestro cards used to have the details built into the long number across the middle of the card, and HSBC/First Direct still did this right up until they changed to VISA debit. Natwest had the same format until they changed over to the RBS system following the takeover.
I'ts no less secure than giving someone a cheque, -which have always had your full account details on them, not to mention your branch address and probably your home address as well written on the back in the days when shops used to insist that you did this.0 -
The card is almost identical to this but with a Visa logo on the left, and no MasterCard logo obviouslyThis is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

The RBS Revolve picture gallery's cards have been updated to show they are Visa Debit.
(sorry, can't post links because I'm a new user)

I find it odd not have the account number, but sort code & the Visa logo on the left hand side.
So it's changed from the old Highline design to look more like the credit cards with the RBS logo in the background?0 -
I think im just used to it as that how ive always seen them except for nationwide
I think theres is at the top i think.
It is indeed, on both their debit and credit cards. Years ago all VISA cards had the logo in the top right hand corner. You never saw it anywhere else, so I suspect that VISA themselves might have insisted on it. It's only in recent years that banks have started moving it around into different places.
First Direct has it top right for the credit card, and bottom right for the debit card.0 -

My A&L Visa D has the account number in the A&L 9-digit format but not the sort code - thats the all-auth one, but OH's £100 chq guarantee has his 9-digit account number and no sort code either.*The RK and FF fan club* #Family*Don’t Be Bitter- Glitter!* #LotsOfLove ‘Darling you’re my blood, you have my heartbeat’ Dad 20.02.200
