Sounds like the non private cards may all the be same colour now - if you look at the FAQ on the link posted previously it says:
My Maestro card was gold but my Visa Debit card is different, have I been downgraded?

No. The colour of the card has no connection with the type of account you have. You'll still enjoy the same debit card benefits, no matter the colour of your card.

The Private Banking £250 Maestro was never gold anyway - kind of cream/marble colour with a horizontal blue stripe/ribbon.

I ordered my replacement card Monday but it hasn't appeared at home yet. Tomorrow I guess.

Will it be that fast? When my previous Maestro card chip stopped working last year it took about a week for the new card to arrive.

Hope my application was successful then I'll also be receiving a nice Visa Debit Card soon. If not, I guess I can always request a replacement of my existing Maestro.

Surprised there isnt a picture on www.rbs.co.uk/visadebit

No card delivered as yet but i do know what the new Visa Debit Card looks like....

I've tried to update a pic but my bluetooth is playing up a bit.

RBS have a website www.rbs.co.uk/visadebit although I can't see any pics at the moment on the website.

The new card is a dark marble colour, with the RBS logo on the top right hand side. The Visa Debit Logo is on the top left hand side. Overall the card looks really good.

The cards BIN numbers are 4751 XXXX XXXX XXXX

    Hope this is useful.

Looks like natwest have changed theres too http://www.natwest.com/global/visa.ashx *gasps

    I think its horrid!

Visa Debit logo strangely to the left, still no account number & highline 250 just written randomly next to the chip. Did Mr Shred pick it?

I thought RBS and NatWest were dropping all references to 'Highline', 'Cashline', 'Servicecard' and 'Cashcard' for their new Visa cards? To be replaced simply by just two terms - 'Debit Card' and 'ATM Card' - obviously not then.

    C'mon guys, we need pictures!!

I phoned RBS today and the guy told me they're still issuing 'Mastercard Maestro', and I phoned a branch and asked what sort of card I would get if I applied for an account, "Like would I get Visa Debit or something?", and the woman said "Oh it would be a chip and pin card", "Yeah but like Maestro, Visa Debit?", "chip and pin". Oh well.

Anyone got any idea if the Solo cards (e.g. RBS Revolve) will also be changing to Visa Debit/Electron?

I was in the branch yesterday as I needed a PIN reminder for my RBS Cashline card, they offered to change my card to a Solo card but said they're not sure if I will get a Solo card or a Visa Debit/Electron as the computer system still says Cashline Solo.

If you guys are really itching to see the pictures, we have leaflets in the branches which were/are to be given out to customers, especially those ordering new cards. I'm sure you can pop in and pick one up - if not, I'll upload one tomorrow for y'all along with some more info if I remember :)

@ Heng Long - I just had to say that I very much dislike the idea of having my account number on my card, especially if it has my sort-code on it aswell - those details are confidential.

If you lost your card, or even just left it in a shop, who's to say what could happen?
Anything that I do say, is strictly my opinion :p
