thanks for starting the new thread hun x

    My list again but revised.

Okay my list for the next 100 days gulp.

    1. No buying of ANY beauty product/make up etc UNLESS I have run out
    2. No bubble bath (still have loads left :o)
    3. Get make up into one bag not and not all over the house/car like it is now:confused: what can i say it walks from room to room i swear
    4. Continue to not buying cakes crap etc only home made.
    5. Try and lose at least a stone in weight and do at least 30 minutes of exercise at least once a day.
Okay first day of the challenge was going for a jog but it torrential rain out they so WILL do that in half hour once i get the kids dressed. Just put my weight loss aim on my sig so hopefully that will make me do it.

Good luck, seems most people are doing the exercise thing at least once a day.
Right off to start _pale_ not looking forward to it in the slightest.

Yes day one is over now.

I paid my DP card off today with an unexpected NI refund before it went on tat I don't need as it would have done a year ago. Any any profits from stash sales will go towards Christmas/birthdays/CC repayment (not necessarily in that order!)

Already failed on the 30mins exercise front - forgot!!! Will try harder tomorrow.

Magni - I found the chocolate and crisps a nightmare too last time, I only lasted a couple of weeks I think - hence the heaviest weight I've been for a while now!

    I'm in again too!

Still going to give up buying toiletries and clothes. Had a wee stock up of some stuff on offer that I use all the time, but everything else is getting blitzed.

Also going to do the exercise thing, but mines is to go to 3 classes a week (I have been missing some recently), but off on hols soon so that will take a back burner. I did do 2 classes today, nearly fainted at the end, ha!

    Good luck everyone x

Hi all:hello: just wondering if I could join your challenge? My challenges wil be-

    1. Do not buy any chocolate!
    2. Do not buy any clothes!!!:eek:
    3. Take a packed lunch and coffee stuff into work and not buy carp in the staff room.
    4. Exercise for at least 30 mins every other day- got to be realistic on this one , I am so unfit. I will in the next challenge increase it too everyday, promise.
    5. This one is personal ;):o
    6. Restrict time online to a maximum of 2hrs per day, including time spent on the net at school (this one is going to be very difficult as I use the net for alot of my teaching materials, eek! but I do spend far,far too much time on facebook and here)

Hopefully by not buying stuff and doing the other 2 things I should have heaps of money left over for my CC's.

    Have a great weekend all.

Hi sinkorswim, Can I suggest you get a sandwich bag and half fill it with water and pop your credit card in and put in the freezer! I have done this with all my CC's and Next card, so if I really need them for emergencys they are there, just need a couple of hours defrosting.
It has also helped me heaps with my whole budget, for example went shopping yesterday, saw loads of clothes I wanted, but didn't need, I hate however paying for anything out of my precious wages so if I had, had my credit card on me I would have easily spent £200+.
Hope this suggestion is of use to you.

    Regards

Hi sinkorswim - just to echo what empy has said. I picked a similar tip up from MSE somewhere.

I have frozen my CCs in a mug of water and put it in the back of the freezer. This has really helped me and I forget about them most of the time and I am never tempted to defrost them.

No online card details are uptodate for spending on which helps too so no temptation to spend on these whilst browsing!
