Used up a half empty Decleor Aromessence Solaire which was 4yrs old and a 75ml L'Occitane Shea Body Lotion.
Bought 2 reduced from £2.49 to 50p travel size Verbena Milk Bath Cream, Natural Collection Shower Cap for £1.75 to go in the Christmas present hampers for family and OH and a lip balm (to replace mine which has one or two applications left) reduced from £4.95 to £1 all in the Boots clearence section.
Nice MSE bargains for Christmas and £1 on me to replace a nearly used up item. The lip balm is nice, wish I'd bought 2 now! Before this challenge I would have spent £10-20 on a lipcare product, this is a big step forward for me.
Plus not bothered at all about yesterdays SBC TSV on QVC and couldn't be less interested in the presentation - has the spell been broken at long last?!!!!!
Next to use up? A 3yr old Hairfix system from QVC the Step 1 has gone watery and when this is gone I am deliberating about chucking the other 2 Steps of the system out (only 1/3 left in each bottle) I'll be glad when it's gone and I get the space of 3 bottles back in the bathroom!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
I was reading someones sig on another thread and clocked it said they were taking up smoothies for the challenge. Be careful the ones you buy are not pasturised (most Innocent ones are for example), as while these taste just as good almost all beneficial vitamins have been killed off by the pasturisation process and basically all you're getting are the natural sugars.Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Thanks Dinah, good point. I'm making them by making yogurt, adding my fruit and then blending. The idea was to add them into a mealtime or substitute for a snack.
I'm adding toiletries and cleaning products to the rest of the challenge. A bit late I know but I've just started sorting through stuff and realized these areas are more of a problem than I thought. I don't really want to wait to October to start saving the money on getting new so I'll add it here and try and remember to do the extra time at the end!!2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
ooo A new 100 day challenge and i missed the start!
Fedup I am so sorry about your dogxxxx
I kinda lost the last 100 days, did buy books, no mags, did buy replacement toiletries and some extras:o from Avon......I didn't buy any cakes but mum did and I happily ate them!
So can I start my 100 days tomorrow? starting today seems a bit of a cheat cos its nearly over?
1. no toiletries (except replacements)
2. 15 minutes exercise at least each day (except Sundays)
3. Ebay 50 items over the 100 days (brilliant plan!)
4.
5.
There will be more so I will come back and edit but dinner is ready and i am so hungry!
xxxxNevertheless she persisted.0 -
Hey Buffy!
Look forward to seeing your edit. Good luck with your 100 days. You can remind me when the second part of my challenge is done as I'm not very good at keeping track of when I start and end :rolleyes:2019 fashion on a ration 0/66 coupons0 -
Not sure if I fluffed up today. Needed some new knickers as had a clear out at the weekend and am down to about 6 pairs that I actually wear, so went down to Dotty P's at lunchtime to get some of their 3 for £8 ones as they last a long time and are all cotton and don't irritate my skin like the fancy looking ones made of net or lace do. However instead of getting 3 pairs, I got 6 pairs as they had lots of new patterns in.... so, do I get a slapped wrist?!Debt January 1st 2018 £96,999.81Met NIM 23/06/2008

Used up an Akin Lip balm 10ml which I never thought I would get to the bottom of at one stage!
Onto the £1 replacement from Boots now which is also good and should have been £4.95 so v.pleased with cheap replacement!final unsecured debt to repay currently £8333Proud to be Dealing With my DebtDFW Nerd 1154 Long Haul 1550 -
Still keeping on track but finding it hard with the Diet Coke. Finished my stash of diet Coke about 3-4 days ago and have had a hangover effect for the last couple of days. It's just starting to wear off. The problem is now I've stopped I might put on weight initially whilst I get used to water than fruit juice. I don't want to replace it with another diet substitute as its not good for either me or my 4 year old daughter who likes to copy.0
