I have to say im so sick of stuff. Stuff as in anything, i think i could go on a no buy stint for a year and only buy essentials food etc quite happily. My Oh and I are the type to see something on the side of the road for hard rubbish and think thats such a shame to throw that out, that is perfectly ok lol. Now tho i have to stop myself from 'saving things' and instead am trying to purge the house somewhat. Not throw things out if they are good, but sell, give to friends or charity. I just want some space to breathe.

    Snap! Same here puss!

I think maybe I should try a only buy essentials month eg food needed only.

Gone a bit off track buying things this week for the house eg new winter curtains and bedding I feel a bit guilty about the spending.

Stocks wise - used up an Elemis Tri-Enzyme Resurfacing Night Cream 15ml tube and now onto the last one. No more of this stuff once the wash, serum and night cream is finished all small sizes and can't wait- can't tell any difference to my skin at all with this range.

Better crack on with the ebay listing at some point this weekend

  • Hiya all, still going well here.... I did use some Boots points to stock up on my fav shampoo/conditioners (3 for £10 so I bought 6), but otherwise nothing else has been bought :)

I know that feeling - my flat is rammed full of stuff that 'might' be useful. I really am enjoying the decluttering and getting my space back for me. It'll take ages but I will get there and hopefully learn from my mistakes.

Good grief, something else finished off today!

L'Occitane Repairing Mask for Dry & Damaged Hair 250ml - had for at least 2yrs.

Nice product but doesn't feel that different in effect to cheaper hair mask products.

Had to reign myself in from buying the Simple Moisturiser Which raved about as being no different to expensive makes. Only the thought of the endless pots I already have stopped me!

I saw that as well FedUp and was tempted when shopping today, but resisted.
I finished two trial size L'Occitane shampoo/conditioners, and the horrible Pantene is also gone :) I think I need to take another peek at my stash to see whats there....

    Hi all,

Well done everyone on using up stuff!

I've been bad (cos on hols), have so far bought a cleanser (can only get here) and 5 handbags! Sorry couldn't resist. Have also been raiding the hotel room for toiletries so my stash is going up.

    Will catch up later x
  • Just finished a clinique dramatically different moisturiser. A few weeks ago I ran out of cleanser so started using aqueous cream instead and I'm really impressed
! All of the dry skin on my face has cleared up and I'm finding that I don't need anywhere near as much moisturiser! Won't be spending a fortune on expensive cleansers anymore!
