  • I have to confess to buying a Kenwood mini-chopper (obviously a liquidiser, food processor and stick blender are not enough on their own ) and also a blouse and two jumpers (total about £50) but in my defence one of the jumpers is for fancy dress and I couldn't find what I needed in charity shops etc. there is no defence for the other stuff. Have been angelic on the toiletries though :D Mind you I do have shoes that need replacing (stock standard mid heel work shoes, the metal thing inside has come out the bottom of my current ones and it will cost >£25 to fix along with with the rest of their woes)

I have neverending creams too magni, why don't they go down??? I did manage to finish my neverending bodywash though (I use it every day, how could it go down so slow ) and have nearly finished another body lotion. One thing that I realised the other day is that most of the stuff I am using is not even on sale any more  that is how old it is and how long I have been stockpiling this stuff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Finished a bottle of alchemy conditioner which is actually one of the few things I have been sad to finish. Am also very close to finishing a body butter:j

Well done Swintsie and Puss for resisting temptation.
I am still on track with everything but had to modify the exercise challenge a bit as I'm still not well. Just trying to go for a short walk most days.

  • Still not bought anything, but finished nothing either!! Why is it normally that you are forever running out of toiletries but as soon as you start a challenge like this one, everything is everlasting!

    Hi Everyone

    Not posted for ages :o.

    Good points:
I have used up loads of toiletries: shampoo; conditioner; deep conditioner; trial conditioner; facial scrub; tester pot of face cream; free moisturiser; face serum; body lotion; one pack of face wipes! Phew! I have only had to buy a new serum; new shampoo and conditioner; body lotion and cotton wool recently. I still have loads to use up!

    Bad points:
I was not doing too well with the 'no coffee or snacks at work' thing until I realised that in some ways it was actually better than me having snacks at home as I was eating them when they were at home! I am really quite a lot more restrained now that I am doing WW.

I haven't loaded much on Ebay for a while but will be getting back into it.

I'm also doing really badly at the positive exercise. I have been back to yoga and am going out for walks but I really need to build it into my day far more!

Will try harder for the rest of the challenge!

  • Well thought I'd do a little update from me tonight too!

    Used up
Free sachet of Nivea Q10 Handcream
2 free Body Shop free sachets of Mango Body Butter
1 razor with the soap on the end of it
Elemis Tri Enzyme Resurfacing Facial Wash 200ml
Ojon Hair Treatment (am I glad that stuff has gone!)
Elemis Tri Enzyme Resurfacing Serum 15ml
    Atrixo Enriched Moisturising Cream 50ml
Elemis Visible Brilliance Serum Free Sample
    L'Occitane Body Lotion 500ml
Charles Worthington Repair and Protect Serum 30ml

Guess what? My skin looks the worst it has done for years I am full of spots all over caused by stress. No products can shift these! Why do I bother with all of this skincare!?

At least I managed not to cave in on the QVC Beauty Day (Another one! They come around quickly) so pleased with this. Thinking about returning the Elemis set I bought the other week - still deciding on this.

    Ebay
Loads listed, only one with bids on (nice price so far though a bag I haven't used for about 5 yrs)

Lots of stuff still to list skincare and make up wise - I am getting rid of all the half used things first. I can't believe they sell but they do. Then the nice new stuff to go on afterwards

    Exercise
Nothing extra to daily dog walks

    Work Lunches
bought a few when mega mega mega low and fed up and the unfortunateness of working next door to temptation alley and my purse with me at work
Back on track now with the HM soups and when I did buy a sandwich I thought why did I buy this? Much prefer taking in my own food. Especially since I learnt on the One Show what an emulisifier is!

Nothing else bought naughty thank goodness!
