  • Good news!!!

Sold £40 worth of new skincare items on ebay with some more still waiting to end in the next few days.

This has inspired me to clear out and be more ruthless with my new things and see what I will use and what I won't ever use

Ebay have changed the rules to disallow used make up and skincare so it is a good job I got rid of everything like that first and now just have the new stuff left to sell. Better have another look this weekend and take some more photos and have another marathon listing session!

Also used up 250ml cleanser and toner from Decleor which I like!

Threw out a few items that were half empty and I didn't want to finish - some of which were coming up to 3yrs old and I don't feel suilty about chucking them out

I have had a bit of a blip, but I am thinking of blaming my OH as he encouraged me:p I was at the clearance rack of the supermarket and they had Olay regenerist thermal scrub reduced from $20 to $8, a huge bottle of palmers body lotion reduced from $12 to $4 and a garnier streak kit reduced from $18 to $6 and I ended up buying all 3:o originally i was just going to get the hair kit as Ive never coloured my hair but Ive got the dreaded grey appearing at my temples but then my OH said how cheap the other things were and how good I'd been and that i should get them. Anyway i probably should have been stronger but I guess i have improved cause in the past a blip for me would have been spending minimum $100 online on an expensive product (but with GWP lol) and today it was only $18. Oh well I can't be perfect all the time:rolleyes::D

    Hi Everyone

Good to see everyone doing so well.

Puss: I think it is fine to buy stuff that you know you will use especially when it is so bargainsome.

I am really quite pleased with myself. Future SIL is going to New York and I haven't put in an order as I know that I need to wait until I use things up and then I can get the latest things. It may be more expensive but I get what I want!

Not much finished since I last posted: a bar of soap and some toothpaste!

My no coffee/snacks at work isn't as successful but it is a lot better than it had been in the past. Joining WW has helped as buying food affects the weight loss challenge!

I am managing to do one of my positive goals now - I have been exercising (walking) for at least 30 mins per day for the last couple of weeks. It's taken a long time but I am starting to feel the benefits. I am glad I added it as part of the challenge.

Now I need to work on the Ebay challenge - I need to take some more photos today and will load 10 things on Sunday!

    Waving to you all

    A little weekly update:

Items used up this week - a Naked Body Butter, Boots Cuticle Oil, Decleor Instant Radiance 15ml Moisturiser, Elemis Tri Enzyme Night Cream, Charles Worthington Heat Protection Spray.

Ebay - sold some more bits on there, relisted the unsold and have found out some more new skincare make up to sell on there and go to new homes.

Exercise - nothing more than dog walking I'm afraid

Lunches - bought one due to stupid no time at work for dinner and had to stuff it down in the car between places. Must learn from this to not stretch myself and to make time to eat at this difficult time in my week

Can anyone remember which day we are on? I've completely lost track!

I'm still doing fine- battling a wish to go shopping today as I really feel like I need a treat. Maybe if I can think of something cheap and not on my list I'll allow myself!

Finally ran out of Diet Coke that I had stored so I'm surviving without it at the moment! Did have 1 slip up and buy a couple of magazines for my trip to hospital- really needed to take my mind off it all so I'm not beating myself up over it!

I think we are on day 75 today

Listed the last of my skincare items to sell today on ebay, see how they go.

Just a few more items to photograph and list of new make up items, then I think all the spare non used stuff has gone and it has taken me nearly all year to clear out the non used and used and unliked items.

What is left over is left for me to use up now.

Decluttering via ebay has been a big help and all sorts has gone via this route!

No more items bought to report on

Last 25 days to go now!
