If a few peeps agree then I'll add it no probs. I don't think it should though, if his inbox is stuffed with coupon queries it just raises the profile which worries me, if someone asked for the address then by all means we'll tell them but I think it's a mistake to advertise. What does everyone else think?

I agree with you PC were dont want him inundated,it might just be enough for them to "pull the plug"
Live for today, for tomorrow is promised to no-one.

never complain about growing old,far too many people have been denied that privilege.

  • Hi Guys
As my local big Tesco are pulling the plug on internet MOC useicon9.gif, my new best friend is going to be the Duty Manager at my local Tesco Express:j

I've given him a copy of the policy and he's been happy for me to use MOCs on two occasions recently to pay for my shopping.
I need to make sure I'm not doing anything untoward, and so please want to check with you guys the following question (I've looked on top pages, can't find).
Does the actual store in which I'm shopping have to stock the item on the MOC? There's no way they stock King of Shaves razors, so does that mean the £1 King of Shaves moc is a no-no?
I know we can check whether or not Tesco stock the item by checking on Tesco.com, but I'm specifically talking about the little TESCO EXPRESS shops. The policy wording is ambiguous as it just says "can be used if Tesco stocks the product".

If there isn't a definite answer forthcoming then I'm happy to phone Dundee to ask, and will post their reply, but as we've all said, we ought not bother them with things that can be answered by experienced peeps on this splendid thread.
    Thanks.icon7.gif

30x20.gifApologies but due to technical issues we have had to temporarily close our FHM offer.
We are working hard to try and resolve the issue... Please be patient, we hope to be up and running again shortly.

This is the exact wording on a week old letter from "Sir Terry"

We accept branded coupons for all products as long as the item is stocked by Tesco.

I think it is quite clear that Tesco itself has to stock it rather than your store, otherwise they would have put "the Tesco shop" or something similiar. I think Dundee will not have a clue and will just guess.
I use an express a lot and have been told that they send the coupons off, so would assume that they all go to the same place for claiming money back. I think that if there had been any problem with my express getting money back for coupons for products they don't stock I would have heard by now as I am quite friendly witth the managers and a lot of coupons I use they don't stock the product, i.e. the finish quantum tablets, kos, westfield (expired).
I think you might find the express a very pleasant change ;) They don't stock fresh fish though, so you very rarely find any trout (s) young or old :D :rotfl::rotfl:
The main thing you won't get in the express is the extra points that are on things in Big tescos, i.e. even though they sold the Torrres wine you just got the normal number of points for the shop. Hope that helps.
Be thankful for what you have because it could all be taken away tomorrow.;)

P.C. I think the general thought on putting "Sirs" e mail address on the front page is a definate no, which is fine with me :D
