For those of you who are still interested in buying printer :-

Below when I bought for the office in Feb 2009 it was £48.27.

Epson SX200 all in one printer

    Catalogue number: 204-3888
    AW08204-3888TPS340911.jpg
    • Now £34.19
    • 68 Clubcard points
Do Not purchase full price for the cartridge ink. You can get good price on ebay. My advice is get "Epson Cheetah 5.5ml and "NOT" Epson Monkey which is only 3.5ml.

Do not pay more than £5 for Cheetah (even if you buy multi pack T0715 - you should pay no more than £20 for 4 cartridges - T0711, 712, 713 & 714).

If you are going to buy Monkey epson is should cost no more than £4.

    Hope this help somebody.

  • Hi folks, interesting stuff re the coupon policy. Im in a bit of a pickle as, after Sundays shopping I was refused any coupons and was told to go see the SM or CSM. Ive been in twice to see the Customer Services Manager but she wasnt there even though she shouldve started her days 15mins before I arrived (surprised she has a job still :D).

Anyway Im now wondering whether its worth going back to see her re MOCs or to cut my losses and not use any unless I buy the product or to risk using them again but going to a different SA?????

    :confused::confused:
Opinions are like ar*eholes - everybody has one!!!! :D
  • Has anyone had problems using internet coupons in Tesco? Two weeks ago was told by a Customer Service Assistant they would take up to £5, last week was told there were coupons with certain barcode numbers which they couldn't accept and today the checkout assistant and the checkout supervisor told me they no longer accepted printed coupons. I wonder if this is just in my store or a new policy countrywide.
  • Btw I had even bought one of the products I wanted to use a voucher for and they still refused to accept it!

My DH has made a suggestion that could only come from a man.
I commented after printing the 3 C&G MOC's that I'm not keen on the free product 000 barcode ones as they have to get someone to go and check the price, he said well buy one and use 2 MOC'S, I replied it would be a waste as our toddler won't drink it, get ready here it comes..... his reply was keep it for an emergency if I run out of milk to put it in my tea:eek::eek::eek::eek:

My local would have refused as well, they stopped taking internet mocs under any circumstances, a year ago - as I have posted before. Nothing you can do if the decision was made by the Store Manager due to coupon abuse. BTW it wasn't me and it wasn't COUPON GIRL either!

Are you in Derbyshire? They just got scammed by multi internet coupons they couldn't get the money back on (Clowne store was mentioned but I am certain others would have been hit as well).

Yes, go back and see her re money off coupons. Don't start out on the wrong foot though, practise what you want to say; use confident statements about the policy, not questions about whether they accept coupons in that store!

Ask why they don't seem to be aware of the Corporate Coupon Policy that Tesco have in place? If she asks what that is (lol!) produce the wording printed out from page one (with a flourish from your handbag!) and don't feel you have to apologise for getting it from a forum. It's CORRECT and it's CURRENT, and there is nowhere else a customer could get the info except from a staff member.

If she says 'not in this store' or 'never heard of it!' then ask in a friendly but surprised way, how long she has been a CSM? If she's been in the job since 2007 she would have been sent the CSM Daily Update in June 2007 which CLEARLY stated to all stores, the coupon policy we know and love. Quote that update to her (not sure when in June, think it was later in the month...).

If she blusters that it's changed since then, insist politely that you know it has not, tell her further updates have been issued since, has she missed them somehow??! And say you spoke to Dundee last week (even tho you didn't) and that the policy is as you have it.

Finally if she calls Dundee in front of you and gets a call centre employee who doesn't know the policy, interrupt politely and ask her to speak to a supervisor there as you KNOW the policy is correct. Often Dundee get it wrong and you have to ask to speak to someone else who isn't just trying to agree with the store 'cos they don't know an answer...

    hth :D
