Really?! I came to know about T's Coupon Policy by chance and this was about a year ago!!! Was the Coupon Policy the same when your mum shopped as it is now?:o Also being taught by an original couponner makes you, definately, a pro...;):p:D:rotfl:

hi there mum2hannah,yes it was very similar back then, of course there were no internet coupons but i always remember her collecting coupons from the paper and mags and not buying the product;)

very few people knew this then, maybe the early 80's we were not well off as my dad had an accident and had to give up work and she obviously had to save money how she could, it wasn't as lax as it appears now though, as coupons were really only in papers, or in the local rag(which i happened to deliver:o)

I'm definitely not a pro though(well not yet) but needs must and times are hard for us as they are for many in this economic downturn, so its my turn to try and save us some money, with the help of this wonderful thread of course:T;):D:A

Totally agree with you DTM. If it gets rid of the scammers I don't think anyone would seriously blame Tesco for stopping internet moc acceptance unless you have bought the product. It would be a perfectly reasonable reaction IMHO. Just hoping they don't tar all coupons (and coupon-users) with the same brush.

And to techspec, maybe we are victims of our own successful thread? I preferred it when hardly anyone knew the policy as well.

True. I remember when a certain Money Saving Expert, can't remember his name lol:rolleyes:, mentioned it on the radio - i though Oh No!.

But thats what he does best - spreads the word on how to save people lots of money.

I do think Tesco are a bit stupid though. I know many staff who know the policy. Some are on here.

They could appoint someone in the know to keep all stores informed of which coupons are open to abuse etc. Most of us could do the job blindfolded.

Typical big company, just carrrys on like an oil tanker - too slow to change direction and react to events quickly.

One thing i will say, is that Millions are lost every day to credit/debit card fraud, but they still accept cards. Hope they see the big picture here.

Not necessarily... I logged out of my account and went back into it and it allowed me to print more... so it appears to let one print if one logs onto the account everytime one wants to print...:o

I commented after printing the 3 C&G MOC's that I'm not keen on the free product 000 barcode ones as they have to get someone to go and check the price, he said well buy one and use 2 MOC'S, I replied it would be a waste as our toddler won't drink it, get ready here it comes..... his reply was keep it for an emergency if I run out of milk to put it in my tea:eek::eek::eek::eek:
