  • I am going to give it another go, someone needs to keep Mad in line;).
I'll get Browntoa to set it up I'll make some a few changes, so after it starts there'll be a week or so of housekeeping.
I'm going to try VC's suggestion of making the final decision when there is a disagreement maybe it could help, too many cooks and all that.
I may aswell set out my stall then.
Any coupons found that could put the T's policy in jeopardy will not go on the front page, moc's like the magazine ones will stay on the thread any thread reader will find it and save a copy if they so wish, I would ask politely not to PM links of these if requests are made on the thread.
MOC's like the Pampers (fake) will be removed entirely.
If any bickering starts could others please not join in I know we all want to stick up for our mates but it only makes it last longer, I will post a link to the drivel thread and ask it be moved over there.

This list is not exhausative and I reserve the right to add alot more;)

There will be some who don't agree with the above but there will never be anything that pleases everyone, I hope it sits comfortably with most.

Now for the bombshell................I was a bit naughty I never removed the magazine coupons from the first post;):D:cool:I just hid them, they are still there!. It amused me anyway:oI was bored, and it seemed the best way to please everyone, even if only I knew, anyway blame my toddler it was her idea:rotfl:

but since many folk, think it is a Tesco policy thread, and not a "printable MOC and policies" thread it would help for clarity

I think that's an excellent point. I in no way condone the magazine coupon abuse, & haven't ever used one myself, but think that they should be on a
"printable MOC and policies" thread, but certainly not on a 'printable coupons for Tesco' thread.

If morals and legality aren't the issue, but instead what we can get away with under Tesco's policy, then what right have any of us got to tell others what to put thru the till?

People are going to put through that they want always will, we're just not going to put them on the front page.

I also used the New Pedigree £6 odd coupon, checked first and my store does sell it so i was so happy to get that amount off my shop.

Welcome back PC & glad you have decided to stay. Good for you laying down your "rules". Let's hope everyone is happy to accept a new way forward.

Thanks to all the regular posters for their help and advice and I hope they will continue to give it as freely as they have done in the past.

Special thanks to Swannee who offered to step in to take over from you for a month. It is good to see that someone was prepared to take over at what was a very difficult time with all the problems which have recently been aired.
  • i know mag mocs are hot topic at the mo, but hope this isnt the same as its a safecoupons one.

the new scientist in the gone but not forgotten is alive again. £1 off, prints 2 copies.

PC if you are willing to do all the hard work, which lets face it very few people would want the hassle, then you've got to have rules its a tedious job for you but its no use people moaning unless they want to take over, thank you for staying with it and good luck its much appreciated by me:kisses3:
