Just got this reply from Pedigree ....:j

Thank you for contacting Pedigree. Please accept my apologies for any confusion that has been caused. I can confirm that there has been a printing error and we do not make puppy cans at 300g. You should still be able to use your coupon on the puppy 400g cans in the supermarkets/pet stores, however, if you do experience any difficulties please contact me on the number below or email me if this is easier for you.

If you need any further information or advice please contact our Consumer Careline on the telephone number below and one of our Consumer Care Advisors will be more than happy to help you.

Well done Martin! I posted a few days ago I thought it was an error, it would be costly to make a different size tin for 1 product out of a huge range.

i tried!! so basically you are saying i am lieing? am i right?

No, I'm not saying you are lying - we don't know each other and I wouldn't presume to make such a judgement. I'm sorry if it came over like that.

I just find it incredible that Tesco staff have not only allowed this but actually encouraged it. It sounds like the manager and the staff are colluding in a major fiddle - but I still can't understand why they are advertising this to all and sundry. Maybe the Manager is on his notice , the store is closing down and the staff are having a final 'dig' at regional management.

what e-mail address is everyone using to try to get unblocked by couponnet or are you going through the contact us button on the website.
    Thanks

I just emailed them on the `contact us` - I had tried phoning, left a message (even though it was in their stated office hours, but no-one got back to me) It took 2 emails, though, & even then, they didn`t tell me I had been unblocked, just happened to try, about a week after my 2nd email. Definately worth giving it a try!

So before my Son goes to UNI i decided to borrow his lappy last night and managed to print all the couponnet ones from the couponnet site and a few off the 1st page .. Only thing i printed a £2 airwick one last night from a email i got a few days ago and it had todays date on it and hubby not going shopping today...

    Hi panthermnan

Exactly the same has happened at our store - I'm in E Anglia, and as of Monday the manager put a blanket ban on ALL internet vouchers as a result.

I know for a fact that a HUGE proportion of the staff were using (probably abusing) vouchers.

I heard also that some guy was bragging on Facebook about how much free "stuff" he'd managed to get lately.

I also heard (similar to you) that there were people going in and out repeatedly over the weekend, trying to make the most of the vouchers, as they had heard during the previous week that the store were pretty much taking more vouchers than cash, and the likelihood was that the manager would put a stop to it this week (as he eventually did).

I've tried emailing Head Office, who are very sympathethic, but they've pointed out that it's the Manager's discretion at the end of the day.

I'm thinking I may try to email the manager to see if there's any chance he would relax the ban in future.

For the moment, all they're accepting is the ones you clip out of the paper or off cereal packets or get sent to you.

The two 'forgotten but not forgotten' links are still working:

    1. Airwick 3 quid link... this now prints a 1 quid airwick coupon valid till may 2010!!!
    2. The dove register link still works.. the pink coupon doesnt work now but when you register it sends a email link to email address and you get a 50p moc still.

Difficult question here. Me personally cannot be bothered (no printable allowed @ my T), my relative came to visit me, somebody gave her a set of these said coupons, the person who gave her the coupon has been using it at one of the T all the time!. And guess what! The said person is actually T's staff!!! So if this person uses it, so will other T's staff.

I warned my relative not to keep her hope so high as some cashier will reject all those coupons that was given to her. This particular store has a strange policy. accepting printable coupons (only if you know somebody there!). I have been there once & I won't go again. I rather stick to the one that accept original unlimited coupons. I am sure some ppl here do use it as well but will not admit it, so it is up to individual really.

Right, this is what happened when you keep abusing the coupons. The above store has now STOPPED taking coupons be it printable/newpaper/magazine or directly from mfg.

Rumours 1 - same person(s) going in 2/3 times a day. DM put a stop in it with immediate effect. Heard it from my regular C/A who also go to that particular store to shop.

Rumours 2 - same person(s) using above pdf. vouchers worth £21 as well as photo copies coupon from the likes of coupon net, etc. Heard this from my relative - she went in the 2nd time (mind you, different week) to use the left over pdf vouchers that was given to her by her neighbour ( T staff) together with other coupons & she was told they no longer accepting them.

RIP my dear dear parent : Mum aged 62 (17/5/1990) & Dad aged 89 (23/1/2012)
