    Hi Guys
I think, IMHO, we should remove "Various magazine coupons" from the top page. I think it's justified because they are w i d e open to abuse. It's still got two months to run. Those peeps who use the coupons because they buy the mag will still know of it's existence and so won't miss out.
Sometimes I think peeps on the thread don't make suggestions such as this because they don't want to be acused of acting like the "Thread Police", but if lots of us think so, we should say so! If several people agree, please will someone write it in blue?!

Is your scammer neighbour a Postman by any chance? Or a planespotter?:p

'Postman' and 'Planespotter' were both usernames of two different, alleged abusers with the Tesco R&R policy (and then they moved on to abusing coupons). Neither of them understood the bigger picture nor knew the meaning of moderation; it was no surprise when the R&R policy ended soon after.

It's the crass stupidity that you've posted about, that reminded me of those two (completely separate posters BTW). Not sure if either of them were in Derbyshire but it rings a bell with me. Maybe someone else who R&Red a couple of years ago will remember?

The Postman was dumb enough to link a picture to a boasting post about his ill-gotten gains - and that picture gave access to his personal photo gallery, his name and other personal details, lol!:rotfl:

Planespotter was famous for complaining on local radio when Tesco wouldn't play with him any more and give him all 'his' clubcard points, he also liked to boast about his haul of H&B items.

They both sound quite similar to your neighbour with his haul of 'stuff'.

P.S. swannee_D and hillybilly, I agree that we need to shut the stable door even though the horse seems to have bolted...please remove the link to the magazine mocs from the first post, PC (if enough of us now agree), and please can no-one pm those links to anyone else. Many of us have been quite happily getting along without using the magazine mocs, there are plenty of others around.

Pantherman, as previously advised, no offense was intended! It's not the issue of believing or not but so many things r happening @ ur store & with management knowledge?! Many, many staff have 2b aware of what's going on... As this forum shows, members on here r very responsible couponners & won't jeoperdize the existing coupon policy by abusing it... in my T's they don't take any printable coupons (including Couponnet) unless one buys the product; even when one's presenting the original coupons these r scrutinized... BTW, I'm a tiny bit jealous of all of u who can use printables, lol!!!:p

Y d u rite in txt shrthnd? Its vry rd 2 rd nd ndrstnd :D

The sooner these mag coupons are removed the better, back you 100%hillybilly.They will end up costing us all in the long run when mr t stops all coupons.I would love to get more off my weekly shop by using all these extra large coupons but we have to look at the bigger picture.
Ps been away on holiday so only just got through the last 40 pages today, many thanks to all the new coupons that have been added recently.

R&R was a great policy Tesco had (R&R stood for 'refund and retain'). At least, it was great until some people abused it big-time.

If you were overcharged they would refund the price you had paid in full and you could keep the item free. Lots of people were quite good at getting the odd free xbox etc., which myself and other posters were quite happy with as individual freebies.

But then along came people like the Postman who boasted about 'hunting' in a pack, County to County, setting out to get x number of free phones (or whatever) each day. This went on for months and months and I believe they became notorious at certain Tesco stores. A major coupon-abusing ring smacks of that same stupid greedy behaviour that got the R&R policy removed.

Anyhoo the overcharge policy is now DTD (you only get double the difference when overcharged, if you are lucky).
