I enter all the GMTV / Loose Women / Real Deal ones as well as for books / kids things, so not only cash ones.
I've never ever one a single thing - not a bean. I've even entered the Mars Football / Pepsi ones and still nothing.
I always tick the box for "no further email / post" - would that be why? I just don't want to be inundated with junk emails.
What are your tips? I reckoned 30-50 a week would have won me something?! I only enter competitions that I'd want to win something rather than enter every single one.
Am getting so fed fed up - and sooooooo jealous of you guys that win loads.
Any tips please?!
Thanks
Jess
GMTV - daily - 5 times a week
This Morning - weekly - 1 time a week
Loose Women - weekly - 1 time a week
Real Deal - daily - 6 times a week
Goldenballs/the chase - daily - 5 times a week
Daily Chefs - weekly - 1 time a week.
So if your entering all the ITV ones out of your 30 comps a week that means your only entering 11 other competitions. Bare in mind the ITV comps are broadcast to millions of people and you will see 600+ thanks on many of the threads from this site alone, but there are other comping sites too so there will be a lot more entries than you think.
I first started comping last year and I won a fabric frisbee. I was disheartened and thought my 100 a week was a lot for no returns. I restarted in March, I now enter 100's a day minimum and as my signature shows have done well.
I know time is of the essence but you should defo look at entering more competitions as from the sounds of it your targetting the big popular comps and missing out on the ones which might only offer small prizes but those prizes make great stocking fillers/ gifts or if your like me aid hobbies as I now have a nice bookcase of books cds and dvds xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I never select for emails unless I am really genuinely interested or i can't avoid it to enter the comp. I have won a few things in my time but it's not as much as others as I don't enter everything and some days that means less than 100 each day. There's a lot of stuff I just wouldn't be bothered winning and I don't like a lot of promotional stuff - never wear promotional t-shirts so why enter?
I used to use Roboform but someone on here mentioned Fireform and so I got that. I find it much better and much quicker than roboform, not least because I can make it learn what to put in certain fields on certain websites.
However, if you are getting that disheartened and can't put the time in, comping is probably not for you. It's meant to be a fun hobby; if you're not getting anything out of it, I'd personally question why you are doing it at all. A lot of people think it's really easy to win loads of comps and it does look effortless if you read this board, but behind all that, people have put a lot of time in although inevitably, because it IS random (and they can't give priority to people who will receive information via email), some people will win a big comp early on. It's just how it goes.

How do you enter a hundred a day?? It doesn't seem possible. I feel I am entering loooads, but I doubt I do 100 a day

I enter at the most 50 comps a a day often much much less and have about 1 win per month. In July won 4 x Sonisphere tickets (£640) so if I win nothing else this year I will not complain. Both my sons and 2 of their friends are at Sonisphere now.
Last month I won Gardeners World Tickets (£47) and a Night in a Hotel (£100).
I would find it impossible to enter 100 comps a day but enjoy entering the ones I do and a win is wonderful no matter how small.Be Lucky Everyone0 -
A lot of winners win tickets as there are usually loads up for grabs. I never enter these type of competitions as I am too lazy to organize travelling anywhere far so would be wasted on me!!! I also avoid holiday competitions after I won one and could not get time off to go and could not get anyone else to take the prize either:o. I don't enter that many...a few dailies and stuff I want or would be good for presents. I am probably quite lucky as despite my very casual comping I win a few bits and pieces!!!Laughing at my ancient signature...voodoobaby now 10 years old:eek:0
