Completly impossible when one wont fit in the holder on the boot.
The space isnt as long as a plate so you cant get one in
So has to be a 7X13 sized plate
And the risk of a ticket every time you drive it.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE ForumTeam0 -

Ok then me and the other meny hundreds of people that have imported cars in the uk!!!
I have never once been stopped by the police for my plates, I have had japanese imported cars for about 3 years now. Along with my boyfriend and all our friends. We never get any hassel as the police in scotland know that imported vehicles can only carry a certain sized plate
Half way down on this link it does state that
Certain imported vehicles may be permitted to display number plates with smaller characters if:-
The vehicle does not have European Community Whole Vehicle Type Approval
and -
The vehicle's construction/design cannot accommodate standard size number plates
Which is what all my cars have had!! Therfore Iv had to have a smaller sized plate in the rear recess as its a japanese car and wasnt sold in the uk so didnt have space for uk sized plates!!

I work at a garage that specialises in Toyota & lexus and we have import vehicles in here all the time - so I know what you are talking about! And yes, the plates are legal for anyone that is in doubt!
What do you drive? I visualise you in a GT4........... a black one....
Meanwhile, I have been looking on the directgov site etc and cannot find out about this new legislation re the number plates........ it would make life easier if I could!!Genie

Correct, the digits can be the smaller motor cycle type, and still be legal.;)0
