Boots threads

Hi guys

I think I explained quite fully in the closing post of the last Grabbit thread the reasons for closing it. It certainly hasn't only been happening recently. Many of you won't have seen some of the issues we've been dealing with for, I'd say, at least a year and, to put it bluntly, we're getting rather sick of it.

We gave many many warnings in many of the threads and in the end we just didn't want to deal with it any more, that's not what we're all about.

A very positive and helpful side effect of closing the all-encompassing threads and asking people to post deals individually is that we've been able to see some pretty good deals to look into for the weekly email, either ourselves or because people have been able to rate the threads (that wasn't possible on the long ones).

So if anything, that reason alone, has completely justified the action it's taken us a very long long time to reach after simply being pushed too many times.

I would just like to say a big Thank You to crazyposhgal, who gave us the first posts on the Boots Grabbit threads for pretty much the whole of the last two years.

If anyone else wants to leave their thanks then her last Boots Grabbit is here, now closed but the Thanks button still works
