    I won, I won, I won!
these rules are sending me bonkers like everyone else I may be sounding dumb here but can 2 people in the same household win £50
    THE HARD WORK
    PUTS YOU
    WHERE
    THE GOOD LUCK
    CAN FIND YOU
  • me too

Before T&C changes I had thought it was per household, but I have a feeling I made that up and it never has been.

I think 2 or 3 people in the same household can win 1 big and 1 small each, but not on the same day.

I will check through the posts

** Only one minor and one major prize per person can be won throughout the promotional period.
Only one major and one minor prize can be won per household per day. **

moneymakestheworldgoround - original rules were 1 small 1 big per household per day me thinks but now the rules are something like:

If you enjoy strawberries, and your name starts with helga you can win twice
Except if you're allergic to cheese in which case you get a bonus entry
With the exception of if you have an a in your name where your allowed 44 wins
Unless the a combines with a consonant in which case you must certify that you are clinically insane
In which case you can get 1 win but it has to be small
but if the big comes before the small the smalls still there
but once the big is gone it's gone
so you can only have a small
unless you have a pet weimaraner called Luka
In which case the worlds your oyster

Anyone wanting to PM me my name is Helga Aaronovitch the cheese hating dog loving oyster :-)

    Hope this clarifies things :-)

  • :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:Simon do you work for McVities:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

you speaka da same language lol
Big Thanks to all those who post competitions you are stars!
  • You have two sides, one out in the field and one in.
Each man that's in the side that's in goes out, and when he's out he comes in and the next man goes in until he's out.
When they are all out, the side that's out comes in and the side thats been in goes out and tries to get those coming in, out.
Sometimes you get men still in and not out.
When a man goes out to go in, the men who are out try to get him out, and when he is out he goes in and the next man in goes out and goes in.
There are two men called umpires who stay out all the time and they decide when the men who are in are out.
When both sides have been in and all the men have out, and both sides have been out twice after all the men have been in, including those who are not out, that is the end of the game!

lol......this above describes the rules in a game of cricket.......but to be

honest......I think it's as clear as the rules in this biscuit comp!!!!

  • I give up trying to find the default win bit - so many posts deleted, it doesnt make any sense reading back through it !

But the general theme was husband got wem to say at some stage previously a winning code was entered at some time on some day. The day, the time and the code couldnt be confirmed. The 'winner' called in and said give me a clue, to which he was told just send all your codes and wrappers in and we'll figure it out

Of course, I may have dreamt this as there is no evidence left on the thread.

BUT I do remember saying several times about do we have to keep wrappers, and being told of course not you silly woman, and then being quite smug (:p)when I saw someone had been asked to produce one. I took this as confirmation I wasnt mad :D

It knows when you enter a code, that you've entered it 5 times and if you have entered that code before, so I dont understand why they cannot say which code it was. They obvioulsy have logs.
  • As I understood it the person that posted about sending in all their packets had had the email within the normal time scale, not 28 days after. The promo hasnt even been running that long so non of the unclaimed prizes can have been reallocated yet.

The only way they could have a reallocated win is if the person who won it had broken the new rule re number of wins. In this case McVs will presumably know as soon as the win shows up and can reallocate straight away

I too cannot see how after 28 days McVs can ask for your wrappers, nobody has said they will and I doubt they will.
  • I reckon the sensible (who me?) option would be to give it 28 days, if the code wasn't claimed put it in the next days draw rather than this default win malarky. If this falls after the end of the comp, the prize should roll into the end prize winnings drawn next year. But hey - logical Mr McVities is an unknown person to me!
