Well the weather has been beautiful again down here today, so we went to the bank and the library quite early, did a few jobs then went on the New Forest Tour Bus. It was really lovely, like the London tour ones but without much of the history lol

but it was a lovely ride round the forest. It cost £13.50 for both of us but you can hop on and off as much as you like, although ds just wanted to look at the bus  It was open-top too so a bit more windburn to add to the already face and chest I had  We did hop off in Lyndhurst as its a gorgeous place but we normally only ever drive through it on the way to somewhere else. I found a charity shop to pop in and bought a Roxy tshirt for £1, a Coast plum coloured lightweight cardigan (£4) and a pair of Boden white linen trousers (£4), which will all be heading ebays way soon

Shame you have not been to any car boots I have been doing the charity shop runs too, but this weekend i managed to get a brand new linen skirt from john lewis, a brand new linen skirt from next and a monsoon skirt lovely 100% silk with labels priced at £65 all for £7 havent listed yet them on ebay but will do a 10 day sale starting this thursday to get in 2 weekends. I have gotten addicted to the boot sales and charity shops too but feel a little guilty in making money on ebay.

Savingmore ... I actually haven't made that much from it, I have got several bits that haven't sold, so will take them along when I do a car boot and try and get back what I paid for them

Ladypink ... well done! Thats some fab bargains you've got there :T I do know what you mean about making money from the charity shop stuff, but they are getting money from it too. If I ever found a huge bargain in there I would go back and give them a further donation

Aaah I missed reading your diary over the past few days! Not the same here without your updates;)
Glad you had a good time, I've been thinking about taking the girls up to London, but my sis was going to come too and they want to do expensive things, like London Eye:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
Morning all, I have woken up this morning with my tonsils covered in little white blobs and my mouth feels like someones had an all night party in it
Today will be a lazy day I feel
I do need to get some food shopping today and I could do with going shopping to return a few bits, but it may have to wait now until tomorrow. Have a good day all

Oh yuk, sounds like a plonk yourself on the sofa with a good film day
Get well soon, glad you had a great time in London.
I'm taking a leaf out of your book and have started trying to overpay my mortgage, gulp! Made my first ever overpayment of £160, bit of a drop in the ocean in a nearly £150k mortgage, but as I'm on interest-only, at least I'll see the capital figure go down reasonably quickly....0 -
Well done on the overpayment Kittikins, hopefully you'll find it addictive too, its a good habit to have

Today has been very lazy so far, we have nipped to the shops for bread / milk etc and spent £9, other than that we haven't done much at all
I have caught up with several phone calls etc, and have been looking at the summer challenge, it has been a very slow start
but with the footie season kicking off tomorrow things are finally looking up
My total so far is £155 which is pretty poor for 3 weeks ... but I have been working on a matched bet offer which should earn me £60-£70 this weekend, I still have a couple more bets to put on but need to wait for some to settle first. This should take my total up to approx £215 - £225, and hopefully then the matched betting will start earning me some good money again
I have also ordered a Boots £10 voucher from a survey site today, too
