best thing to do is read donglemouses diary on the gambling board, then read the bit about getting started .... then you'll feel like giving up .... repeat the process several times and eventually it'll sink in

Morning all
Thankyou all for your good wishes yesterday, I had a lovely day, I got lots of lovely pressies (and money
), and last night enjoyed a lovely chinese takeaway with ds, my parents, brother, sil and niece
I also sorted out staying at a friends house on tuesday night when I go to London, so that will save me £50+ on a hotel :T
Today the sun is finally shining :j and we're off down the beach, there is a funday organised by the rnli at the local harbour so we will walk along to that, it usually has load sof sidestalls, rnli display, helicopter displays, raft race etc ... and then a big firework display in the eveningHave a good day all

We walked down to the funday, (about 3 miles) and ds didn't whinge once about walking :j :j The funday itself was fine, except for the ridiculously overpriced funfair rides, (£3 for bumper cars for 3 minutes , £4 for an inflatable slide  ), so ds went on a carousel (£2) and that was all
I know it seems mean but I'd rather he learnt the meaning of money
We did go on a few sidestalls / tombolas etc, but they were 20p a go so I didn't mind that, and the money from those went towards the RNLI rather than the funfairs peoples pockets
We then walked back to another part of the beach and ds played happily there for ages before we came home. Its clouded over a little bit now so I'm glad we went out when we did. This afternoon he wants to play with new birthday toys again and I may try and get a few bits on ebay seeing as I didn't get organised enough to do the car boot sale todayMortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

Happy Birthday for yesterday BB - I'm just catching up with your diary as we've been on holiday and back today. I got to bed at 5.45 am this morning - still tired now:rolleyes:
You've been very busy so far in the hols - I must make the most of the next 4 weeks off work and make some money:DI really need to sort out a new signature!0 -
I haven't done ebay after all as several bits I want to put on will be bin's and we are away for a few days this week so if they sell I won't be around to post them  I have taken a few pics though ready to do when we get back. I have had a bath and have just played a game ds had for his birthday with him. Nice relaxing evening aheadMortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000

Hope you had a nice holiday Milly
Today we will be tidying up and packing our bags ready for London tomorrow. We also need to go to the bank and to the library to get ds another book for his reading challengeI might also try and start sorting the garage a bit, depending on the weather, maybe we'll go out somewhere instead
Tax credits have gone in today and the mortgage payment has gone too, so need to move some money around my accounts.Mortgage Total: £51,801 / £75,000
