Sometimes he says he misses him when he comes back but he's never been this upset before :o Kept telling me he does love me and didn't want me to think he didn't, but that he wishes he could have both of us living here and that he didn't have to take it in turns to see us :o:o Why are men such w***ers :confused:

  • Benben does his dad know that he was crying this much this evening? Maybe he could arrange to spend some time with you both sometimes so DS sees you both getting on and together while still explaining to him you are not a couple?
  • Aah hugs Benben, these men just don't know what they put us or the children through. I hope DS feels better in the morning.

Yep KM, I phoned him tonight to tell him and to ask if ds had been okay while he was at his this weekend, he briefly spoke to ds on the phone for about a minute or two but then told him he had to go cos he was about to go to bed  Theres no chance of spending time together, we barely communicate at all anymore :o

  • Hey Benben - hope you don't mind me dropping by - I'd not realised until KC mentioned it that you are another MFW'er lurking on the DFW board! Excellent progress on your mortgage there - you're a step or two ahead of us at the moment - ours started off at 103.5k in 2003 - we only started OP'ing in spring 2008 and now stand at just over 87k. The aim is to get it gone in 8 years now  - I really must stop writing it down cos it's scary! Current MF date is March 2021 so work still to be done.

That's a nightmare about your electric meter - if you put your heating on at the same sort of time last year will they maybe be able to base the estimated readings on the same months last year?

The 49p M&S cards are great aren't they - I got two as well - did you discover the fact that there are two different codes you can use? TOPCARDS and TELECARD I think it was....

  • I wonder if DS told/tells him how he feels about not having you both together? Or maybe he only tells you coz he feels 'safe' to IYSWIM as he knows you won't hold it against him.

He sounds so sensitive to your feelings, you should be proud, especially as all his good points have come from you seen as you spend most of his time with him and any of the best points have surely come from the fair weather ex :D

I asked ex if he says anything when he's there and he said that all ds says is he doesn't want to go home :o When I subtley asked ds about it he said that its not that he doesnt want to come home but that he wishes he didn't have to go from one house to the other, that he wants us both in one house :o:o I knew this would come as he got older, twunty ex thought that by leaving when ds was a baby then he wouldn't be affected by it as he'd know no different  He's sooo useless but it hurts seeing ds so upset by it and knowing theres nothing I can do or could do at the time either to change anything :o
