Have semi-blitzed ds bedroom, his big toy cupboard has been emptied and a bin liner filled with lots of odd bits; happy meal toys, yoyo's that have become knotted around random bits of plastic, dried up plasticine, papers that have become screwed up, used paintbrushes that have gone solid ....
Anyway, what has gone back into the cupboard is organised and in its correct boxes
There is still a couple of boxes under his bed to tackle but they may wait until the holidays now, my early morning is catching up with me already, maybe I'll have half an hour on the sofa now

Grr, ds has just come home, he's been at his dads for the weekend, and it turns out yesterday he went out for the day with his grandparents (which is fine) but without daddy as it was his g/f's birthday this week and their mates were coming over for the day   Why bother ?? He's the most pathetic waste of space as a parent as it is, you'd think he could manage to spend a weekend with his son wouldn't you

The outlaws took him somewhere I was planning on going in the summer with him, and had one of those huge souvenir photos done with them and him in, (bought 3 of them apparently  ), and have included one in his bag for his bedroom .... it will be going back in his bag next time, I know they're his family too but we don't need any reminders that the poor s*d is related to them in my house thank you

heh benben,
have you thought about looking on freecycle for a cabin bed and then buying a new mattress for it? i know we just got rid of my ds2's and i just wanted rid of it, and there was nothing wrong with it and if you put a new mattress on it, it would be like new? it is the kind of thing that when you want to get rid, you just do....
glad you are thinking of weymouth carnival, it is a great day out, i grew up there so been to many, may go again this year as i think i will be staying with my mum in carnival week.....0 -
I did think about that and may have a look, tbh I'm being all emotional again at the moment and keep lurching from one decision to another, yesterday I was buying a cabin bed, then I wasn't, now I'm thinking about a holiday again for this summer ... I just wish all this stuff I've got going on would hurry up and be resolved, and I also desperately wish I could get m ex out of my life totally
