Home again, guinea pigs cleaned, car cleaned inside and out, and roast dinner thoroughly eaten :D I came home with a load of cold chicken too for tomorrows dinner, so that will help a bit more on my food bill saving mission ;)

Baths are done, flat is tidy and now its time to start the nightly battle of getting ds to bed .... oh and today was a nsd (apart from the Ann Summers stuff, but since I checked the finances I haen't spent any money :D)

As long as you recognise the true situation re the finances now rather than when it is too late, you will be fine.

OK, so it will be tough at times, but you and I both know that you can do tough :D

Hi Tigz, we loved saturday too, was a really lovely day and the kids were great too :D

I've got the first section of davina done, will do the rest when ds is in bed as he's trying to fast forward the dvd which is making it a nightmare

Ds is away this weekend and I am thinking of doing another car boot sale, I need to clear the stuff out of the garage once and for all and the pennies will be very welcome :) I don't think I'm likely to make much this time but I just want rid of the stuff now and the space reclaimed in the garage ;) I will try and sort out a few more bits on saturday when ds isn't around to take.

The flat is pretty tidy still at the moment so my plan for the weekend will involve a decent walk, some davina, some cycling, packing up the garage and doing a car boot :D On top of the normal food shopping, ironing etc ...

Ds had a great swimming lesson today, there are normally 5 of them but today there were only 2 and he managed to swim a width (10 metres) without his armbands :j
Todays spends have been £2.86 on bread and milk.
Tomorrow is sports day at our school so a nice easy one, followed by parents evening at ds school. I've also got to collect a parcel from the post office, hoping its the Ann Summers stuff but thats arrived really quickly if it is :)

I've been having one of those ... ooh, its nearly the summer holidays moments tonight, and have been running around writing a very very long list of bits and pieces I want to catch up with around the flat. Most of the items are very minor, but I need to have it all listed so I can cross it off as I go ;):D

I did get going on a couple of them and have gutted all my food cupboards, and anything out of date has been binned. My cupboards are looking beautiful if less than half empty now though :o But at least I know whats in there (even found 2 bars of 90% cocoa solids choccy, have NEVER forgotten about choccy before :o). I also gutted the first aid box and again, its looking a lot emptier but everything is in date and all the packets of paracetamol with only one tablet in have gone, the cough mixture thats got half of it on the outside of the bottle and is all sticky has gone etc etc ... I'm going to aim to do a few little bits like this over the next couple of weeks before we break up but the majority of it will be blitzed in the holidays :)
