Enjoy your leavers' ball - DD thoroughly enjoyed her's last night, and I agree, just what you need!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

Morning
The ball was lovely last night, the kids looked beautiful and it was a really great night, just what I needed right now
Yesterday I received a letter from the CSA re. my child maintenance; basically they will be paying it into my account from now on. Their calculations mean that next month I will only recieve £150ish instead of the £340 I've been getting. From then on it will be £363 a month but its unlikely I'll receive that tbh.
So todays plan; drink lots of water, do lots of housework, have a rest day, going out for drinks / tea with cutie teacher and his wife, maybe go out on my bike later on once its cooled down a bit
Oops, nearly forgot to mention, todayis weigh-in day ... another 2lbs off this week, again its probably not very accurate, I haven't been eating hardly this week because of everything going on and I also got my perios yesterday so may get a truer reflection next week, but am very pleased with it anywayMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Well done on yours too Mart :T
Forgot to add to my list for today that I must sort out my finances today. I'm not looking forward to it because I think I'm almost certainly going to have to rethink my aims for this year, due to circumstances beyond my control, I will need to redo my budget and although I'll keep my target for the year the same it is almost certainly not gonna happen nowI also need to speak to the estate agent too and take the flat off the market as moving is no longer part of my immediate plans

Tescos shopping is done online, being delivered tomorrow between 1-3 before the footie. I nipped out to get one of those slip things my nan always wore , I bought a dress a couple of weeks ago and its fine indoors but if the suns out then its one of those that goes seethrough
Anyway, the only ones I could find were £13 and I'm not paying that, (will borrow one off my mum or something instead). I did however buy myselfa gorgeous shirt from Esprit in their sale (reduced to £12.50) and a pair of skinny jeans for £20, used an old £10 capital bond voucher thats been in my purse for months, so only cost me £10
Another thing to add to my list is that I need to prepare a presentation for school on friday, basically I have to present with another t.a. to all the senior management within school about the course we went on a couple of months ago and how we're planning on implementing the new scheme within school  The worst bit is that the other t.a. has already told me she's taking a sickie on that day as she's going to Alton Towers for the day, so I'll be left to do it on my own  :mad:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

That sucks re the presentation and having to do it on your own!
Well done on the weight though - ok, so it may not be completely accurate, but it is still going in the right direction, and that has to be a good thing!
good luck with the finances and stuff xSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Back from the pub, had a couple of drinks (non-alcoholic) but then went to a couple more shops ... I bought a gorgeous white top (£18) and a lovely duck eggblue crinkly scarf (£11.50) and a lovely shabby chic sign (£6.50) to hang above my bed saying "I love you to the moon and back" from the book "Guess how much I love you", one that ds and I love
Then, as if that wasn't enough, I had to go through m&s to get to the car park and treated myself to chicken korma and pilru rice and a triple choc sundae, and have just eaten the lot for my teaI know its not good but tbh, with the week I've had I felt I could treat myself a bit today, so am not going to beat myself up about the clothes and food
Now its time to start thinking about the presentation, not really looking forward to it at all, it needs to last 30 minutes :eek:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Good for you - in the grand scheme of things, a bit of spending and eating won't do you any harm!Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0

One hour in ... the bathroom is done
always like this one to be done, I hate having a mucky bathroom, the car tax is done and the kitchen is done (except the floor still needs a clean but will do that just before bed). The lounge is tidier, the table has been cleared and cleaned, it just needs a good dust and hoover in the morning now.
Think I'm going to have a mooch on here for a bit before I go to bed with my bookMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
