I went and got the bike sorted at the local bike shop, they're very good in there and did it for me and didn't charge me for it :T I did buy my cycle helmet there as a way of saying thankyou, it was reduced to £29.99 but that seems pretty standard, I didn't just want a really cheapy one from Argos.
Ds and I have just had a homemade pizza for tea and salad. Now we need to sort out stuff for his school summer fayre on saturday for him to take in to school tomorrow.
I really need to have a good plan soon as I feel I'm not focused properly on finance stuff, and with stuff going on at the moment I need to start paying it more attention againI've been reading Hypnos diary and I am so similar to her sometimes, I really need to do a meal plan as I have loads of stuff in the cupboards that we never touch, and food shopping is definitely one area where spending has got a bit wild recently

Summer fayre stuff is nearly done, bottle of wine, fiver for the raffle, made some fairy cakes, stuff for the lucky dip and stuff for the tombola ... then they have the nerve to charge you to go in and buy it all back   Grr .... anyway, tis done now.
The phone hasn't stopped all evening, I have asked friends/family not to call me between 6.30 / 8.30 unless its urgent because if trying to get ds to bed and settled at a sensible time ... anyway, 4 people called tonight  can you tell I'm in a grump tonight nowDs is still awake and I'm not happy. I wanted to watch the footie too tonight; managed to see literally the last 4 minutes  Maybe I ought to go to bed and try to wake up in a better mood

Hi there cybertwin :rotfl:
Sorry that your evening has been so disturbed. The problem is that you then find your whole evening "wasted" sort of, and you go to bed feeling even more out of sorts than you were when you got home from work! (or is that just me!).....
sleep well. Tomorrow is another day xxSuccessful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -

Bad timing for me - we are off to the races this evening!! They have said that there will be screens up around the course, though, so hopefully I won't miss out completely!
Hope you have a good day, despite the early start.Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0 -
Today has been a bad day ... in badness terms its a ten out of ten
Can't explain why, all to do with the stuff I can't say about, but its pretty much as bad as I've ever had to put up with before
Still, on the bright side, I've been up 13 hours and have had 2 cups of coffee and 1 quality street. Think I'll splurge some points on vodka tonight
