Managed 6 hours of sleep altogether, not too bad but still feel pretty tired this morning
Today is summer fayre day and the weathers looking good at the moment, we're walking up there with a neighbour and her son.
I also need to sort out something for dad for fathers day tomorrow; no idea really what to get him, was thinking a pedometer but not sure mum will see the funny sideMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Forgot to mention its weigh-in day today. Now the scales are saying I've lost 2.5lbs but I know thats not really true, its just cos I hardly ate anything yesterday (only used 9 points and that included vodka), so its a bi of a false reading but hey, I've gone with whatever the scales have said all the other weeks so I guess I should do the same again this week
So, 5lbs to go :j:j

Can't go into details but my total income could be reducing at some point; even if its not I'm thinking it may be time to be fully independent and provide 100% for ds by myself. It may mean no new house, less treats etc, but I know I can do it and that way I get no one elses sh*t to deal with or affecting me
Tonight I am going to number crunch and see what it will mean for us, but I'm looking at losing about 20% of my income. I thought I was free of crap from others but clearly not, so this way, once and for all, I would have no links whatsoever with them. Yes our income suffers but this time I really will be free :T

First of all, well done on the weight loss - excellent result :T
Secondly, I think a pedometer for your dad is a fab idea - got to look on the funny side of life sometimes!!
Thirdly, and in connection with the other crap, what happens is out of your hands for the time being - all you can do right now is to base things on the worst case scenario, with those endless back of the envelope calculations that we are all so good at, being sensible about needs and wants for the future, and having not only plan B, but plans, C, D and E to fall back on.
Time will bring you some sort of conclusion, and when it does, you will be ready to do whatever you need to do.

Back from the summer fayre, spent about a fiver on various stalls, came home with a bag of sweet wrappers / cakes that ds had eaten
He saw several friends there and had a nice time. Then we grabbed a bag of chips
and went to the park to meet some other friends which was lovely; the kids played cricket together while we chatted.
I'm feeling pretty tired now so am heading for a lazy evening / early night. Tomorrow will involve some food shopping, seeing mum and dad, a bike ride and whatever other joys the day bringsMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000
