Glamourising is going slow Souk, still going on the diet but its slowing down now :o But a couple of people have noticed I've lost weight and that always helps. We're off to Devon in the Easter hols and that will involve a swimming pool, so need to keep going on the weightloss front :D

Hello S4mmy, the course tomorrow should be good, its the 2nd one of 5 and its done by the local ed. psych who is a brilliant speaker :) The lunch last time was fab too and we had cookies straight out of the oven that were to die for :D

Nooo, take a big handbag, wrap as many cookies as you can in serviettes, bring them home and share them about your MSE friends :D

It was one cookie each last time, they were big fat ones and utterly delicious and well worth forgetting about ww for 10 minutes for :D:o:o

We've had a great day though, we went to mums this morning and cleaned out the guinea pigs and cleaned the car, then ds decided he wanted to learn to ride his bike ... Quick insert for everyone ... I bought him a new bike xmas '08 and he's literally not gone near it as he's petrified of it :o Anyway, today he's decided he wants to do it, so we started off on his old Thomas bike and after about 1.5hours we took the stabilisers off. He still hasn't quite got it but he's just about there, so hopefully with some more practice over the Easter holidays we'll be there :j :j I'm so proud of him as he kept trying for about 3 hours altogether which is a huge amount of time for him, especially to do something physical as he gets tired really quickly due to his low muscle tone stuff :o Anyway as a treat I got him Toy Story 2 which he's been asking for for ages, but he tried soooo hard today that I thought he deserved it :D :T :T

By the way, since when has one cookie per person REALLY meant one cookie per person.

Every eye in the room was on the cookies when they brought them in, there was no way of anyone getting more than one :rotfl:

I will definitely need to keep practising bike-riding with ds again, I was worried that with the clocks changing he wouldn't want to go to ebd tonight cos it wasn't dark, but instead he was asleep within minutes, think I wore him out today :D:D I've just had a lovely hot bath as my back was killing me after God knows how many trips up and down mum and dads driveway bent over holding on to the back of the saddle :rotfl::rotfl:

Smartmart if you're reading can I have some honest feedback about Devon Cliffs please! I've been reading loads of reviews online and for every good one there are about 10 bad ones :o:o I'm seriously considering whether to even bother going tbh :o:o:o Most seem to say the same things; caravans are filthy, the place is overrun with rats, not enough staff and those that are there are utterly incompetent, lots of drunk rowdy teenagers, oh and the mod rifle practice at 6am .... :(:( I'm just worried cos mum and dad are coming with us and they're a bit more old-fashioned about holidays and I'll feel terrible if its awful :(
