Lucky you, having fun at Beaulieu - think of us poor slaves chained to our desks, Monday....yawn!!0

We're back from Beaulieu, it was really busy there today, luckily we got on the monorail and the bus before the queus built up. We looked at a few other bits again but it was a bit too soon to go back having done it all on friday lol. I am going to email them though as when we went on friday there was a lady giving out clipboards in the queue for people to giftaid their entrance fee, so basically they can reclaim the tax on it. She didn't offer us one and we didn't ask as we were busy sorting dad out with a wheelchair. Anyway, today we saw a sign saying that if you giftaid your entrance fee (costs you nothing, just have to sign to say they can claim the tax back), you get an annual pass  We explained that it wasn't offered on friday and the 'customer services' supervisor  said "well we have a sign outside about it, you should have read it"
So, I thought I'd email and see what they say, chances are theres nothing they'll do but its worth a shot
We've also been to tescos and I managed to only spend £35, was expecting £50+
Just had lunch and now planning on whether to go out on ds bike or go down the beach for the afternoon :rolleyes:Mortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

We decided not to go after all as its clouded up and looks like rain, ds is happy playing with his cars so I'm grabbing a few minutes to gt some jobs done. Tomorrow will be a beach day and we have been out this morning so I don't feel too bad
I've just joined another bookies, hopefully will get £12 from quidco and I will see how far I can get through their introductory bonus, although its one of those bookies that are notorious for gubbing people early on  wish me luckMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Last night Mum went to a pub quiz with my sister and Aunt and I went round and sat with Dad for her. We took the tent and ds and I spent the night in that. Dad was really hard work, he talked absolute nonsense the whole time I was there, he thought he was a milkman at one point and was upset because he'd forgotten how many pints each house wants
Then he decided he wanted to go to bed and promptly took all his clothes off  It was a hard evening and I honestly don't know how my mum copes with it all the time
The night before last he tried to hit my Mum, he's never ever been like this and its so scary
In other news, the quidco from yesterday tracked at £15 instead of £12 , one of my bets from the weekend has decided to gub me (and lots of other people too) because I took advantage of their promotion that they sent me and haven't done an non-promotional gambling  Fair enough but why bother sending me the offer then
We went to the park this morning and did a few little jobs and went to the psot office. I still feel really tired today, didn't get to sleep till 1.30am as dad wouldn't settle, then ds woke up at 6.30 this morning. Coupled with being in a freezing tent wih a 6yr old who hogs all the covers, I didn't sleep wellI've just had a nice warm bath and am feeling slightly more human now.

Did your mum looking into getting respite care for your dad?
Thinking of you - (I'm glad I have something to say as I was having trouble finding your new diary),

Thankyou Dangers, he did start going to a home one day a week but it really freaked him out and he was even worse when he came home
Mum spoke to social services about a night carer once a week so she could get some sleep, but they said they don't provide that  She has got a lady round at the moment from social services so will find out what she can suggest a bit later

Who was it that gubbed you BB?
I still haven't recovered from Spoilsports stopping me from placing any money on anything. I was only on my second bet :mad:Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060 -
StanJ*mes, I did their weekly promo for free casino chips, no matched betting or anything involved, and they said I've taken advantage of their promotions too much   ... surely thats why they send them out via email??
... 2 hours later they sent me another offer

That's not good BB. Luckily for me I always forget to place the £10 bet to then take advantage of the casino chips so have only managed it once. Although knowing my luck, it would happen on my second attempt.
At least there are plenty more to do out there...Mortgage start September 2015 £90000 MFiT #060
