BBAM is a football mom, dontcha know. Her motivation always increases when its the footie season...:D, never more so than when her team wins too...:beer:0 -
Yep, the motivation is definitely returning
I saw someone walking along the bach the other day throwing a ball for their dog, and I want to be able to do that, but first I need a house with a garden, so the quicker the mortgage goes then the quicker I can get a dog, and then I will have yet another major decision ... I've always always wanted a basset hound but recently I seem to want a golden retriever, I'll need to start thinking on that one

I'd really love one and so would ds, and with the hours I work it wouldn't be left alone for long, but it just can't happen while I'm living in a flat, so yet another incentive to get rid of this mortgage!

Maybe until you are able to get the dream house with big garden for DS and dog to run around in, you could volunteer to be a walker at a dog sanctuary?
DD and I went to a cat sanctuary today and were told about the cat cuddling scheme which we're both really keen to do as it's not practical at the moment for us to get a pet.0 -
Thank you for the car boot tips Benben:D.
Funny you should mention videos - that was one of the other items I was going to take, along with a video player but to be TBH I had wondered if anyone would want them. I'd also never thought about magazines, but in true MSE style I don't but many either;).
Would you have to pay all your mortgage off before you can move to a house?0 -
Elliemarie - I don't think I'd need to clear it all but the more thats gone the better house I can get
The problem is because I only have a small p/t salary I can only get a small mortgage, even though my total income isn't bad and I am disciplined at paying it off and I can manage to pay a lot more than the minimum each month, the highest mortgage I can get is roughly £60k, so at the moment that would only give me an extra £15k-ish towards a house.
Kittikins - I would never manage to leave them there if I did that
Ds's dad does have a dog so he does get to play with one every couple of weeks

Morning
I had an email this morning from an old gaming site saying I still had a bonus in there I hadn't played, so have just duly played and withdrawn £5.94, very kind of them

Today we're off to Beaulieu again with the free return ticket from last week, taking a picnic too so hopefully a fairly cheap day. I must do foor shopping today too as we really have nothing in at all
