Good luck with it all BBAM, hope it goes through all stress free. Could you give me a rough idea of how much the HIPS costs? is it a fixed rate or based on value?

Hips is a fixed rate, mine is £375, which I think is a bit more than some, but I didn't want the stress of faffing round with it, so went through the estate agent. Some people get them from online places and some think they're great, others think you're better off going elsewhere and paying a bit more, swings and roundabouts I guess :)

Thankyou KC, although tonight I'm starting to feel the wobblies already having spent £375 on what basically amounts to a typed up questionnaire :(

Evening all, after school tonight I took ds to the local softplay place with a couple of his friends and their mums. We joined when we moved down here (£10) which gave us free entry on that day (normally £5.50) and then £1 off all visits from then on. Recently though they've started doing the odd free day for members, so we all go along after school and it doesnt cost us anything :T I did buy tea there though, I had a jacket potato with tuna, ds had sausage, chips and peas, plus drinks for £6 which I didn't think was too bad :)

I've placed the free bet from one of this weeks offers and am waiting on a footie result tonight to see, it will either result in £20 profit or £37 profit :)

Just off to submit the hips questionnaire, the guy is coming round tomorrow to do the energy bit of it. The estate agent dropped in the details of the flat today and theres a few bits I want changed on it, he hasn't mentioned the integrated dishwasher or that the garage is electronically operated, and in the contract he has put 20 weeks even though we agreed on 12 :o Luckily I dont trust him as (a) he's an estate agent and (b) he's male (sorry to any male readers here but thats how I am I'm afraid ;)).

You are doing incredibly well with the bets.....I am easing myself back in gently, but managing to do something each day, which is good enough for me right now, and is giving me my confidence back :)

By the time the world cup arrives, I will be right back on form (with a bigger float too!!)

Thats my worry though Hypno, by the time the world cup comes my float could be in the hands of solicitors and estate agents :o I need to get every penny from betting while I still have a decent sized float to do it with ;)

And thank goodness it IS available to us!! I have done very well out of it over the years, so I for one am very happy :)

I am sure, with your amazing resourcefulness, that you will have that float replenished before you know it - you will just be doing so with your laptop in your own garden instead:D
