If you sell your flat, the £1,020 that you saved in estate agents fees could go towards your £10 a day challenge. It would knock more than three months off in one go....:D:T

Fab idea Mart, but unfortunately I don't currently *have* the £1k, so its a hypothetical saving, well one I don't need to find rather than one I've saved ;):)

Also if I do move then the years challenges will probably need to be altered along the way anyway, the estate agent and stamp duty alone will wipe out my isa', thats without the hips, solicitors, searches, hire a van etc etc ... why am I doing this again?? :o :rotfl:

Okay, I've done a couple of bets as cheltenham races starts tomorrow. I've never bet on horses before so am a bit nervous, but a friend has talked me through it and am hoping everythings gone okay ;) The first one will make me £5 profit, the second one will either make me £50 profit if the hors wins, or -£62 with a free £100 bet if it doesn't :) (which should hopefully make me about £18 profit overall).

Ooh, you have obviously done exactly the same bets as I have done :rotfl:They are exactly the same figures that I have in my little notebook :)

Well the favourite didn't win, so looks like it will be nearer to £18 rather than £50, but is still a profit :) I've just done a sign up offer and free bet which (as long as I have done it right, still learning the horses), will make me £71 profit tomorrow :D

Forgot to say, the other bet from yesterday was fine and £5 profit, so that is enough to get rid of 2022 :j :j

Woohoo, that has also meant I'm now £3000 towards my annual target :j :j I'm really chuffed with that as I expected to fall behind in the early months and claw some of it back in the summer holidays, so thats a real bonus :D:D I'm going to aim to get to £4k by the end of next month ;)

Excellent news!! (apart from the horse only coming third.....) but c'est la vie. Hopefully the freebie won't take long to credit!

My float is looking fairly poor now - today's Ladbrokes odds are much higher than yesterday's so it has wiped out my betfair balance, pretty much :o

All helpful, though, in the grand scheme of things, and once everything is settled and back in the right pot, I am sure I will be pleased that I made the effort!!

The signup offer worked fine, so £71 profit to report fron one bookie today, the offer I did this morning was voided for some reason, so results in another £2.50 profit from that one overall :D

Just waiting for the estate agent to arrive to take the photos and measure up :)
