Well I've spent the day thinking about nothing else but moving house
I've made several lists already; stuff that can go on ebay, stuff that can go to the tip, stuff that can on freecycle, and jobs to do before it can go on the market. Most of the last list is very superficial stuff, nohing like last time I moved when I literally had to decorate half the house to make it preentable enough to sell
I am feeling extremely motivated about selling stuff and making some money again, another major push should be coming up in that area soonI'm also very glad I've got a week off work next week so I can seriously crack on with sorting stuff out. Its really important that I firstly gut my garage so that I can box some stuff up from indoors and store it in there so the flat doesn't look too cluttered, as I think thats always a worry for buyers when they buy a flat, that is is there enough storage, so hopefully if it isn't looking cluttered then subconciously they will think its fine
See, I'm still 2 jumps ahead of where I should be, really I should speak to the mortgage company first as if they say they won't lend me any extra then the whole things a non-starter anyway
Nothing new to report on the money front so far today except for 10p on the scratch's  The flat is still a bit of a tip so tonight I want to get on top of that again so that I feel organised for sorting out other stuff. I also need a very early night as I couldn't sleep last night as my mind wouldn't switch off and consequently today I feel exhausted and its only mondayMortgage Total: £51,549 / £75,000

Thats what I did first, the garage. Got a friend to take the electronic crap to the recycling site. Then I did a bit on it. Then my sister, who knew how much I hated the spiders in the dratted place, spent four hours with me one day turfing out all the empty boxes from the last time I moved, and lots of other stuff too of course. Then I swept the place out, while she rearranged stuff, and another trip to the recycling place. Add in another three or four shorter sessions in there (including a load of old paintpots thrown into the skip that was here because I was having a garden wall rebuilt) and its a place thats empty enough so that I can put all my DIY and gardening stuff down there. Its amazing!2023: the year I get to buy a car0

Thanks to some shoving from Tigz on f/b I phoned the mortgage comany to find out if they'd increase my mortgage, anyway they basically said that it would take 20 minutes to do a quote or I could do it myself online, so thats what I did. I only used rough figures, I need to do it more thoroughly, but based on the rough figures it looks as though they'd lend me £70k :j (I'd need about 60k I think).
So, although I need to check thoroughly, it looks as though theres a good chance the mortgage would be approved, now I need to think about how long the mortgage term would be extended to; I think if I kept the payments the same then the morgage term would need to be extended by another 10 years (back up to a 22yr term), plus there were would be the 20k to repay to my parents
So that all makes it seem quite daunting, however, ulitmately, this is what I've been aiming for all along, and hey, I know I can overpay again
But seriously, I need to think this through lots and lots ...

Yep will definitely be able to meet next week Tigz but it may need to be a cheap day
Which day is best for you?
I'm really tired again tonight, not really sure why, really must try to get to bed a bit earlier tonightDs had swimming lesson after school so only just got home and had dinner, (sausage and mash), not planning on doing much tonight, may try and read the house buying/selling boards and see if they've changed much since I last used them a couple of years ago
