Mum and Dad popped round tonight before ds went to bed, it was nice for them to see how excited he was and Mum read him a bedtime story. They gave me my christmas card which had a cheque for £300 in it :eek:

It is so kind and so generous of them, normally our family don't go mad at christmas at all, a limit of about a tenner normally, so am not too sure why this year they've decided to go crazy but of course I'm very grateful Now I've got the good old ... what do I do with it? debate I think some of it may go on a shopping spree in the sales, but naturally, part of it will go into the mortgage pot, maybe £100 I think. So, already its shaping up to be a bloody good Christmas :T

Awwww how very lovely of your parents:p And yes, you must buy yourself some treats in the sales.....that's an order;)

I woke up in the night needing a wee and it felt like i'd had loads of sleep, so I got up and that woke ds up ... only to find it was only 4.02am :eek: By then though ds was wide awake and had found his stocking at the end of his bed, so there was no persuading him to go back to sleep, so all our parcels are opened already ... tis gonna be a long day :rolleyes:

Well am terrified that a certain Wii game sitting under the tree will put a stop to required nap on sofa..but then again it may revitalise me !

Merry Christmas BB and little BB ... we had an early start too, OH was awake most of the night,he thinks due to having a chinese last night and all the E numbers!

What a lovely surprise having all that money...xx
