hi i recieved a letter saying that they would put me in a position back to if i had no ppi and they would contact me regarding the amount they never contacted me and when i looked online had a refund then two days later recieved a statement with a refund on heard nothing else i never agreed to anything

HBOS don't ask you to agree to it. They give you the refund and if you don't accept it and want to go to the ombudsman then don't touch it. If you spend it/move it then you are accepting it.

    Hi hun

Sometimes we are lucky to receive the agreement with the SAR's and other times they don't, but they should supply this for just a £1 postal order or cheque payment by 12 days through the post.;)

You can not work this out if you mean the interest you were paying on the premiums. If you mean the 8% statutory interest then you can work this out from the bank charges calculator (half way down the page here) http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/reclaim/bank-charges in which you put in your amounts and the dates applicable and it would give you a rough idea. I am sorry about the other interest but it is a little difficult without a full breakdown of the figures. If they were settled loans it would depend on if they rebated any interest if you settled early and also on the settlement regs at the time.
  • hi they have given intrest on premiums which is the second amount the last amount says compensatory at 8 % then the last figure what is the 8% on

From just that information no one could work anything out i am afraid. You need to request a breakdown of their calculations maybe and then someone can check if possible. The 8% is statutory interest which is interest added onto your redress for not having use of the money through the misselling.
