How long has it taken from when you sent your first letter as I am awaiting a reply from them too.

    Hi There

If you are lucky you will get the PPI back to the beginning if that was when PPI was added. I claimed for one Barclaycard going back to 1991 and got the PPI plus interest plus 8% they paid just undeer 9000.00 and I think that was 12,000 on it. (Claimed for somebody else). You may well find that this will nearly clear your card account so that will be a result.

Do not sign any Full and Final paperwork until you know how much it is that you are getting back.

You will have to go through every statement you have ever had and add up all the PPI you have been charged and then calculate what proportion of your monthly interest is for the PPI on each statement. Then you will have to calculate 8% simple interest to each payment.

Personally I'd let them sort it out ;)

    Hi there;)

Do you know what the original amount of PPI was and is this on a settled loan?
I take it this is a goodwill offer?
    Am I correct?

    Hiya hun

In my personal opinion I would go for the full whack and the interest, I bet there is a good lot to reclaim, if they actually admitted liability and not offer you a offer of goodwill by offering you a low amount.

So what I would do, (it is up to you though)...;), is write back and still hold them responsible, tell them you still believe you were mis sold the PPI, and will appreciate it if they refund you the full amount paid in PPI, the interest and the 8% interest of what a court would award, and if they do not do this for you move your case on to the FOS.

But like I said hun, it is entirely up to you, good luck.
