Anyhow, droping the subject now. Not here to argue with some smart ar**

Just realised some people might read this wrong.

NickX - by this I don't mean you, but the original patronising subject of this argument.

However, there are geeks like us :rotfl: and there are people out there who hear a word "bill" and run a mile (my husband:rotfl:). For these people to pay the way we do is not an option.

Probably best if you take responsibility for your finances in that case ;)

Don't worry, I can see how Daveboy's post has come across and it does sound rather arrogant considering the OP has not made a mistake in this instance.

I just notice that Direct Debits aren't quite as "trouble fee" as we would be led to believe hence I can see the sentiment in his post.

Hang on a minute, if any is a fittie then we should be shouting 'bill' all the time so we can get her all alone while hubby does the marathon!..... ;););)

Find it quite funny how people criticise me but can spend plenty of time here on MSE.

Run that one by me again.........
What has the amount of time people spend on here got to do with the price of fish???
Some people are retired and find this site enormously useful.

I'm sure you are a clever guy with a lot to contribute, but your post came across as a bit arrogant and smug.
There are various reasons for using different payment methods.
    Glad you can contribute though.
