    Hi elljay,

There was a very similar thread on this a couple of days ago that might help you: Biro on cream leather chair (Aaaarrrghh!)

I'll merge your thread with it later as it helps to keep all the suggestions together.

i always use hairspray and cannot say I have notice the colour coming off. Sometimes takes 3 soakings of hairspray.

So Give it a good squirt then rub gently and repeat as necessary.

My sofa is cream what colour is your chair??

    Hi,

I was pannicking when I saw some ballpoint pen stain on my cream leather sofa. I tried various method but still could not remove it so I just left it at that.

Then after a few weeks (or months?), the stain disappeared. I reckon that's the beauty of real leather.

it's a dark tan colour and the finish is quite smooth rather than grainy if that makes sense. when i used the hairspray twice i saw orangy dye on the tissue
