Ususally a few packs of sushi, pack of melon slices, a sandwich, some juice, chocolate, whatever else she saw on the way round that took her fancy.

I was gonna say I dunno how the biatch ate it all and stayed so skinny :rotfl::p But I realise that she was only having a few bites of each thing.
  • It has beef pasties, if that's the one. Nothing called Cornish pasties. It has the bakewell tart too, but it's called "bakewell in a bag". (Why?)

You can't call them "Cornish" pasties if they're not from Cornwall and made to a Cornish Pasty recipe - it was recently trademarked (a la "Champagne"), hence why they're called beef pasties.

Here are two recipes from economy gastronomy.
This one is for One salmon four ways.
This is for a vegetarian dish and anytine BISCUITS.

There are some other articles and recipes in the guardian with Allegera Mcevedy .HTH.

Re buying the book do you think we could contact Amazon and ask for a bulk discount if we all chipped in and placed one HUGE order ???
  • Allegra does a lot of the cooking on the Supersizers - love the way she is willing to have a go at war time rations followed by tudor poultry excess. My copy of the book has arrived today and it looks good.
