Anyone find the recipe for the beef duabe on the website? I couldnt see it.
Hi, BBC food website.

aw its a lovely house. it makes sense to sell it considering they want to downsize their food budget so obviously other areas need to be looked at and dealt with. dont we all do that when faced with money shortages or come to our senses and realise that living in a £635,000 (as an example lol) is daft seeing how there are probably cheaper houses around.0

which bit - not wanting to take eating advice from someone overweight or saying they are overweight?
i've nothing against people being overweight if they are happy with it or drinking more than the number of units a day for that matter. but i wouldn't take drinking advice from a drunk. or eating advice from someone fat (or underweight for that matter).
last episode they seemed to make loads of puddings. tis all very well harking back to a bygone age of cooking but we don't live a bygone lifestyle (working in the fields all day, long walk to work or shops, housework by hand etc). if you are sitting on your !!!! most of the day you don't need a heavy meal followed by pud! Those who will not reason, are bigots, those who cannot, are fools, and those who dare not, are slaves. - Lord Byron0 -
As a fat bird myself (but losing weight through proper methods), I certainly wouldn't appreciate a lecture on healthy eating from Allegra Mcwotsit OR Gillian McThingummyjig, as they both look in dire need of more appropriate nutrition. One will probably keel over like many chefs, at about 55 from a heart attack, the other will probably develop an osteoporosis hump and shuffle along shouting at people in the street when she's in her 80s.I could dream to wide extremes, I could do or die: I could yawn and be withdrawn and watch the world go by.Yup you are officially Rock n Roll0

I used to spend £5 a day on lunch, not much I thought, but thats almost £100 a month! I stopped before the crunch hit, thankfully!0

Glad it's not just me, then.
(cue bleats of "Well I feed ten people on six quid a week and I don't see why nobody else can. I think the BBC should do a series which reflects the likes of me, because it's not realistic, etc, etc....." - is it just me, or isn't all this getting a bit "four yorkshiremen" ?)Oh come on, don't be silly.
It's the internet - it's not real!0 -
