My DD2 made twinks hob nobs tonight and they were lovely. My DD1 asked why they don't cook 'traybakes' as they are bigger and can be frozen...i'm glad to say i'm proud that they are learning from me (thanks to you all on here once again as i learnt from you lot).
See you all on this thread next week.0 -
That really is quite disgusting.0

Oooh, didn't they do well!
Chicken dishes looked great - not convinced about the pasta beef dish though.
Remembered while watching that I used to make DH pasties when he was my BF but haven't done it for ages. I'm going to do them again and soon!
Anyone else pick up any tips or ideas?0 -
another very enjoyable programme this evening. I wasn`t even going to watch the series but it is cooking with a difference. I loved that delightful family and I loved the fact that they were using good quality ingredients. Well done to them, particularly on getting their family values back on track0

I missed the first half, and have just finished watching the rest, but can someone tell me what the main dish was for the week - that the "tumbledowns" came from? (I presume it was beef in some shape judging by the pasties?)
Thanks.
It's only a game

Oh, I know - I'm one of those! Shop at Morrisons, buy some decent brands and some organic/free range, plenty of areas I could still save a few pounds each week, but £330 is still 4 months food for me!“most people give up just as they are about to achieve success”If you think you are going through hell keep going - Sir Winston ChurchillIf You Can't Change It, Change the Way You Think About It.SW, 13st5lb, -4 1/2, -1,(12st13.5lbs)0

in fact I am enjoying it so much that I have bought the book from amazon. £9 in total
oh yes I did learn something new. Cut the garlic and put in oil and it will last a month in the fridge. That is very timely for me as I bought a largish net of garlics in costco the other day and am only half way through one bulb0
