Week 10,total weightloss is now 13.5lbs Week 11 STSweek 14(I think)..-2, total loss now 1 stone exactly

Its subjective, its economy to them;)
To be fair there are 2 of us now & I still spend nearly £100 a week (no booze or cat stuff either).
So if I was to shave £25 off that, then £75 would be economy to me.
Its notr economy, its economy gastronomy:)0 -

Yes I agree, thats why i added "altho in their defence i think they had been used to spending nearer £200."
,it just isnt very economic for me,...economy for me is...A family meal for a fiver type thing...a bit like the sainsburys 5 family meals for £20 campaign, not exactly gastronomy, but we're trying the smoked salmon, courgette pasta tonight(may cheat and buy some extra salmon tho,not sure the 120gm pack of flakes will go far)..;)Perhaps the shows title is a bit misleading to someone like me that focuses more on the economy part,:o
still enjoy watching economy gastronomy tho.Slimming World..Wk1,..STS,..Wk2,..-2LB,..Wk3,..-3.5lb,..Wk4,..-2.5,..Wk5,..-1/2lb,Wk6,..STS,..Wk7,..-1lb.

Just echoing what someone else has asked from further up the thread - does anyone know if there is going to be another series of Economy Gastronomy? I too am watching the repeats on Good Food and would be interested in knowing whether another series is on the cards.
TIA

Hi,
I hope I've posted in the right place- sorry if I haven't!
My boyfriend bought me the recipe book 'economy gastronomy' last week and I have started on the first 'bed rock' ingredient which was shoulder of pork.
In the first recipe they call for 'polenta, not ready made' (or something). Well, I couldn't get hold of polenta in any form so substituted it with mash potato for that particular recipe.
However, using the polenta left overs, I'm now supposed to be making a butternut squash polenta gnocchi al forno type dish (I don't have the book to hand! Sorry!).
Being that I don't have any polenta to use in this dish and that I have already spent a fortune on this 'economy gastronomy' (not quite sure what budget they're using!), I don't fancy now going out to hunt some down.
Can anyone recommend an alternative substitute for the dish? I always though gnocchi was potato anyway so thought I could just use the left over mash?
Sorry if I sound a bit clueless!
Thanks in advance,

Polenta is just corn meal which you should be able to find in most supermarkets0
