theres is about 100 recipes in the book, but i think the most popular ones were on the website. if there is anything in partic u fancy im sure someone will pop the recipe up.

Thanks, I think as I'm supposed to be decluttering I'll leave buying the book for the moment and just start trying out the recipes I've already got.

    Library ;)

I've checked the library database and they don't have this book at any library in the region yet. So I'd have to put in a request for them to buy it but, as I'm 7 months pregnant I suspect by the time they get it in I'm not going to have chance to be doing much reading or cooking for a while!

I made the Norwegian Fish Pie on Friday.

I've put page markers on the ones I want to try

    Red Pepper Hummus
Pappadelle with Slow-Cooked Beef & mushrooms
Arroz Con Pollo (chicken & rice)
    Pauls Cottage Pie
Pork & Ginger Noodle Stir-Fry, but with chicken instead.
Quick Spiced Chicken thighs (but will use breast instead) with Emergency Biryani
Onion Bhajis, Tarka Dhal & Almond Rice
    Norwegian Fish Pie
    Spicy Lamb Shish Kebab
Seared Squid with Chorizo (this is also nice with scallops instead of squid;))
    Turkey & chickpea Patties
    Spicy Chicken Bhuna Salad
    Butternut Tagine

Keep me busy for a while:D:D:D

What's everybody else planning to make first?

    Done all in red:D
Had the butternut tagine last night (first time I've dabbled in Morrocan), it was fab. Will chop the squash smaller next time, would also be lovely with lamb. Used my new pestle & morter for the first time making it.

    Hi,
Just wondered if anyone had made the meatballs with the tom sauce yet?
    If so, was it good?
I'm thinking about trying it this week.
    Thanks.

    This one?
One-pot tomato stew with pork meatballs, chorizo and white beans:

Did you try it? I bought all the ingredients so will be making it tonight (Sunday) and will report back...

  • I have done the pork meatball dish and it went down really well with my family. I served it with crusty bread. so only one pot. I thought that it was an expensive dinner. but reaaly nice and easy to cook.

How is everyone else getting on with their book, it was constantly being updated here when the show was on, but seems to have fallen from discussion.

I'm still loving & using the book, it ranks in my top three books.

I made the steamed banana sponge with toffee sauce on the weekend, much to the delight of my family. Yum yum pigs bum :D Made a nice change from banana bread as it felt much more decadent
