Charming. I hope you're some kind of natural beauty yourself?

It amazes me that some people have such a nasty approach to life.

I thought Jordan was a lovely kid too, I quite warmed to his mum as well. I'm not sure they'll make great changes but they have learnt a lot from this.

Oh and I have to say Allegra strikes me as the type of girl who never has "left over wine" - I'd love to have dinner with her, I bet she's good company.

  • I probably spend less than £110 a month on food for my son and myself and we eat very well! Oh and how can next weeks family throw away all that food, that chicken for goodness sake. That makes me so mad, I am vegetarian and I can't stand it when meat is wasted but that is just criminal.
  • I thought it was really good tonight and Jordan was sooo huggable and bless him trying to cook his mum a meal when he had never cooked before.
Mind you I did wince when he chucked the omelette in the bin
Paul was patiently brilliant with him and brought his confidence back - Good on Paul
The recipes for the most part looked quite tasty but the green fritatta didn't quite do it for me :rotfl:

Was wandering what phatmouse's comment meant, I assumed it was something to do with making mistakes, if not that then it's not a very nice comment, or relevant!

The young lad was a credit to his mum.

I've always tried to save money on food, but not got it down to the extent you guys have. I like this prorgramme but the budgets are still huge! Still, start with small steps and people are more likely to carry on with it. One of the more watchable cookery programes on TV for me.
  • I've not really watched much of this series, this was the first one I've watched all the way through.

The thought of spending over a hundred pounds a week on just food is amazing! What can people buy for that sort of money.

Hopefully they will keep up the good habits. the kid especially seemed keen.

The full phrase is "fell out of the ugly tree and hit every branch on the way down"

Sad that some people find the need to be nasty about individuals on a thread about a cookery show.
