That's the thing I don't understand...that family were all quite slim. The mum was actually quite skinny
yet apparently they all ate cakes/puds like they were going out of fashion:rolleyes:
Something to me doesn't sound quite right about that episode.....I have thought that ever since watching it:o

Maybe the mum is like me then. Until I hit 35, I only weighed 7.5 stone. I'm only 8.5 now (I'm 5'6") and I love my cakes and biscuits and lots of full fat cheese!0

Sounds like my husband and kids, no matter how much they eat they are still skinny as rakes...

Found a link to the bran muffin recipe on the bbc website. Remember hearing/reading somewhere that the leftovers in the fridge shouldn't be stirred when you spoon the next batch into tins.
Looking forward to tonight's show - will try to catch up on this thread before then - it's got soooo long!0 -

Will everyone stop moaning about the athletics! It's a one off event, Jessica Ennis has won a gold in the Heptathalon and Phillipes Idowu has just one a gold in the triple jump! It's fantastic!
No one is missing Economy Gastronomy because it isn't on this week.0 -
