    open and shut case, definately not. The injured party knowingly sat in a chair that was faulty, she could have refused the chair.
    Why wouldn't it go to court?

    Because Tesco wouldn't risk a claim involving a 90 year old woman at court. She is likely to have the sympathy of the judge.

    What is that supposed to mean? You asked why it wouldn't go to Court, and I am telling you. Quite why I am bothering, I don't know, since you obviously think you know better than anyone else. :rolleyes:
