had a great day with my mum and my sister (who's bridesmaid) went to a spa and my mum had her first ever massage which she really enjoyed and i had a 2 hour session that included a salt scrub for starters, a shower, got covered in clay and wrapped in what looked like turkey foil :rotfl:, then another shower and then a full body massage it was bliss!

Hi all, not been on for a while but I now have 6 sleeps till the big day!!! I am sooooo grateful for all the bank holidays, they've stopped me being a big stressed, rushed mess!!! It's a very DIY affair as much as I could manage and I still have a few bits to do!! Last week I put the cake together for the first time. I have made evry single sugar flower myself and I think there are over 500!!!!! It looks STUNNING though, I'm so happy with it and after b=thinking I was mad to take it on, I'm now so glad I did! We have the suits and dresses at home but I still have the following to do before the big day:
1. make the seating plan, table names and place cards (for top table only, the others are designated a table but can sit where they like on it!!)
2. Make a wedding post box
3. wrap all of the presents for the BMs etc.
4. print the inserts for the order of serivces and stick them into the handmade car outers.
5. deliver the favours (handmade whilst watching the royal wedding!), seating plan etc to the venue.
6. Church flowers....MIl and her friends are doing these but I'll help where I can.
7. Take the cake to the venue and set it up
8. Manicure, pedicure, eyebrow shape
Oh and I still have 1 day at work too!!
Good luck to the rest of you x0 -

That's exactly what I said this morning!
Have finally got around to organising the honeymoon this morning. We've booked the first six nights accommodation. Two in York, one in Ashington, two in Edinburgh and a night at Tan Hill. Still have to find a B&B in Kendal, then maybe Bristol for the last couple as have family we can stay with.
Tried on my whole outfit on Friday morning. I was a bit worried about the dress fitting as I have a massive lump in my breast, have hospital appointment on Tuesday morning and it is so swollen wasn't sure the zip would go up. Trying not to worry too much about it and focusing on wedding plans instead.
Hen night tonight, a curry with the girls then on to a pub to see a band. I know Sunday night's a strange time, but I work Friday & Saturday nights and didn't want to lose a nights wages.Married 19th May 2011 to the love of my lifeCross Stitch Cafe Member Number 44CSC Challenge - to complete LEGS by end of December
