I'm a bit stressed today, i just want to cry.
Our RSVP cut off was yesterday and hardly anyone has replied and the people that have replied i knew would deffinatley be coming. I just can't believe how rude some people are.
Then with only 26 days to go, i am having major dress wobbles. I don't think i like my dress anymore. When i bought it (a China one off eBay) i loved it, but now i'm not so sure and i really want a new one (but i have no money or time to get one).
I think i need a good kick up the bum lol!Got Married on 28th May 2011 :j0 -

Oh sweetheart (and date twin!), firstly; big hugs!
I had exactly the same problem with the RSVPs, people just seem to receive them, put them on the mantlepiece and forget about them, and think "oh she knows we'll be coming" when in reality you want to know 100% for venue numbers... I would suggest giving everyone a quick ring. It'll take an hour or two but you'll get most of your answers - plus could you delegate some of the calls to parent(s) (especially if it's a relative on their side)?
As for the dress, I've had the same experience... what do you dislike about your dress now? Could we see a pic? x0 -
I've just done a bridal boudoir photoshoot... it was ace! Bit mortifying seeing the proofs afterwards but with some airbrushing it should be ok
Has anyone else done one? x0 -
Could we see a pic? x

Could you take it to a local dressmaker and have them add more crystals? Not sure what else you could do apart from try and find the original cheaper on eBay (but time is running out of course!)0 -
I think it's normal to get wobbles about your dress before hand. From the picture, I think detailing of your dress looks lovely! Maybe it needs an underskirt/petticoat to get the same effect as the picture of the original?
If you really wanted to change it, they've got a few of the original on preloved:

well am moving house on friday! So have spent all weekend packing! me and mr elbereth dont like to do it the easy way! lets get married and move house within 2 weeks! Am hoping its going to give me something to do instead of wedding planning! decorating! have booked the last hotel for our honeymoon a whistlestop tour of italy.
On wedding planning front lots of little bits to do! Am getting worried about things not coming together, our venue is a beautiful barn, its a community space which u can hire in the same way as a village hall, there isnt any kitchens on site and we have hired in outside caterers who are going to do a bbq. We will have a teepee tent outside where everyone will eat.
Our caterers have advised us its all doable despite the limited facilities on site but as the day nears am worried its gonna be a disaster and we are taking a bit of a risk with the weather!!!
aaaaaaaggggggghhh!!!!:j0 -
