I love that dress, I've even tried it on
its beautiful. Good choice!
It's got a corset back though hasnt it? Should be able to adjust a fair bit. Could talk to the lady in the bridal shop see if she thinks you could get a size smaller cos you can let the back out with the laces if you dont lose weight, and if you do go down more than a size you could lace it tighter or it would have minimal adjustments.
Look at me assuming you're looking at loosing weight LOL - sorry. Just' cos I'm trying to.
I expect you're perfect the way you are - in which case, go buy it"I know that Prince Charming doesn’t come save me, we save each other and fight back to back against all comers that’s what marriage is to me. Nothing passive, no being carried off on a white steed, give me my own damn horse and lets ride into the sunset side by side." - Laurell K. Hamilton.0 -
Appointment is made... I know I'm not committing to buying anything, but I don't want to be wasting their time!
Oh and I probably will want to lose weight, but I wouldn't be too fussed if i don't. I've put on a bit of weight lately but I'm telling myself it's a side effect of my new contraceptive!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -

Good for you!! let us know how it goes!
Wear granny pants. it was a complete shock to me that they dressed you and you have to get down to yer undies!!!! I'd have worn more appropriate pants :rotfl:"I know that Prince Charming doesn’t come save me, we save each other and fight back to back against all comers that’s what marriage is to me. Fortunately I was a bridesmaid last year so have learnt from my fellow bridesmaid's experiences! She was pregnant and was wearing a really tatty pair of undies (which were probably perfect for her at the time) and was SOOOOO embarrassed!Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
oh i need a whinge really.. just came back from holiday and to occupy myself on the flight i had a wedding magazine.. and nothing we had in mind is right anymore.. the magazine didn't tell me that it just helped lol.
I have ivory and burgundy as my colours and now want either emerald green, deep blue or a shade of purple (undecided see!?) the venue now is not up to scratch but i think i need to go and look at it again to make sure of that.. I hope i'm just flustering really but i just fancied a moan.. ho hum.0 -
Hi all,
I am also getting married on May 28, 2011, outside of Philadelphia, PA where I am from.
We have the venue and church, my dress, and most other things are chosen just need to book. We pushed our date back a year after I was out of work for 10 due to my employer allowing my work permit to expire.
All of my wedding ideas are on my website: http://ukpabride.weebly.com/0 -
Well I tried the dress on... I've decided to have two wedding dresses. The dress this morning I felt a little bit misled by the bridal shop. The dress had a price tag on saying £450. I loved it. Assistant then told me that to order in my size and the colour I want would be £580. Apparently if I bought the sample, it would be £450. Chances are I'll now buy it from Landy.
The second dress, I bought this afternoon. It's a grecian dress from monsoon (I can't find it on their website though...) which I'll wear for the evening.Don't worry about typing out my username - Call me COMP(Unless you know my real name - in which case, feel free to use that just to confuse people!)0 -
Add me to the list for 28th May 2011.......

Trying to hold off on trying dresses on yet, will wait till the new year and then it will be landy (I think!)
menus/food just about decided.......
what next?

I can't even think about my own wedding at the moment.. nothing is right. I'm becoming very fickle!0
